Report have been modified to make room for the added new factors The two modifications are The Win True and Good True lines have been combined onto one line The line will either have a win or a good or a no notation The Days Ago and Days Good lines have been combined on one line The first figure on the line is Days Ago the number of days since the horse s last race and the second line is Days Good number of days since the horse s last Good race The following new fields have been added to the Contender Summary Report In the 2 of 3 section and directly below Hall BRIS Total 2 3 The Total factor equals Early Pace rating plus Speed rating Hall BRIS Late 2 3 The Late factor equals Final Fraction rating plus Speed rating Hall BRIS Best Top 10 The horse s best Top 10 Speed figure Hall BRIS Best Recent Top 10 The horse s best Top 10 Speed figure in last 120 days In the Form Section Hall BRIS Weighted Total Hall BRIS Weighted Late The Weighted Total and Weighted Late factors are the average of each horse s Total and Late ratings respectively for the horse s last four races with the most weight given to the horse s most recent race 12 Form By the Numbers Report This report has been changed substantially The report now includes five different sets of data up from three groups in prior versions of ALL Ways The two new groups are labeled COMPREHENSIVE and 2 WORKS SINCE LAST RACE Here are the fiv
5. order in a Ranking Factor List However in the Professional Edition you can customize the Top 10 Ranking Report This means you can designate the factors you want used for the three Top 10 Factors and for the sixteen Ranking Factors When you design your customized Top 10 Ranking Report you will want to keep in mind that the far right side of the Top 10 Ranking Report will by default show the new ESP Quirin Speed Points designation and the Morning Line Odds for each horse Suitability Report BRIS Back Class and BRIS Back Speed have been added in the Suitability to Surface section of the Suitability Report Back Class The best BRIS Class rating for the same distance surface category in the past 12 months Back Speed The best BRIS Speed rating for the same distance surface category in the past 12 months Brohamer Plus Report The Brohamer EP 2 3 factor has been added to the top of the Brohamer Plus Report So now the Brohamer 2 3 figures are shown for Brohamer EP Brohamer AP Brohamer SP and Brohamer FX factors Track Bias Jockey Trainer Report Besides the ESP Q designation addition to this report you may now see an exclamation point next to the Jockey Trainer line on the bottom of the report This designations indicates the Jockey and Trainer have recently been working together extremely well This is sometimes referred to as a hot jockey trainer notation Contender Summary Report Two factors on the Contender Summary

9. after clicking the TEST ALL button The default for this check box is OFF You must turn it on before you run the test if you want to print the condensed report The condensed report will have test results for multiple Search Definitions on a single page A Selected Search Definition At any time you can select a Search Definition by clicking on the name in the Search Definition List When this is done you can print and or display the results of the most recent test of the selected Search Definition by clicking either the PRINT or the DISPLAY button respectively The buttons are directly below the active Search Definition name Again the test results shown will be the results of the Search Definition s most recent test Sort Sequence of Search Definitions By default Search Definitions appear in the Search Definition List in the same order they were created i e chronologically Directly below the list of Search Definitions for a track including the lists of Default definitions and Library definitions you will see a check box for Alphabetic Sort If you turn on this Alphabetic Sort check box the Search Definitions will be listed alphabetically If you un check the box the Search Definitions will revert back to a chronological sort sequence Other Search Definition Enhancements Off Odds versus Morning Line Odds If you use a Morning Line Odds factor in a Search Definition when the definition is tested ALL Ways will automatically use th
10. cap races at Saratoga the Inner Turf and the Main Turf handicapping will automatically use the correct Handicapping Profile Default Profile df used by the Handicapping Session Template If you have set up your Handicapping Session Template to include MRA Default m1 profiles and then in the Handicapping Module there is no such profile available for the race being handicapped ALL Ways will automatically substitute the correct original default profile df ALL Ways Custom Card BRIS makes available special ALL Ways data files from the ALL Ways Custom Card page on the BRIS Web site These special ALL Ways data files are comprised of only races that have passed your race specifications ALL Ways gives you two ways to handle these special data files which can contain races run at different tracks in North America ALL Ways gives you a choice of treating the races as track specific which is the default setting This means that ALL Ways will use the Handicapping Profiles and track statistics for the actual track hosting each race Alternatively you can set a Preference in the CUSTOM Module that instructs ALL Ways to treat Custom Card as a single track with the track code CRD When you do this ALL Ways automatically maintains a database for the artificial track CRD and uses it to create Handicapping Profiles and track statistics based on all the races in the CRD Race Database regardless of the actual host track Many ALL Ways users like this capab
11. ch Definition portion of the Search Report Default Search Definitions used for the CRD as Track option if no Search Definition for CRD Default Profile df used by the Handicapping Session Template if no MRA Default m1 profile BRIS Early Track Data File Format BRIS has modified the format of the ETD file ALL Ways Version 13 1 handles this new format The EDT file should be downloaded for a race card if the original ALL Ways data file did not have a p designation on the BRIS Web site The p designation indicates the file includes saddlecloth numbers morning line odds available wagers and program scratches The ETD file automatically adds this information if it was missing in the original data file So if you downloaded an ALL Ways data file without the p designation you should download the corresponding ETD file into the Frandata folder and unzip the file using the Toolbox Module Then when you handicap each race in the Handicapping Module the saddlecloth numbers morning line odds late program scratches and available wagers will be added to the Race Database for the track and the Wager Races Database and will show up on all handicapping reports Handicapping Session Templates Professional Edition Only Saratoga Inner Track Handicapping Profiles The MRA Default and the MRA Pace Handicapping Profiles for Saratoga separate the Inner and Main Turf tracks When you use the Handicapping Session Template to automatically handi

15. her in Chapter 8 of the ALL Ways Version 12 User Manual Our experience with this new feature in ALL Ways while it was being developed showed it to be particularly useful for analyzing multiple tracks on the same circuit such as the Kentucky Circuit used in the example above How to run a Multi Track Analysis 1 Goto the Analysis Module by clicking the ANALYSIS button on the MAIN MENU 2 Enter the track code for one of the tracks you want to analyze and click TRACK OK 3 Click either the TOP 3 or the IMPACT VALUES function button This will display the Multi Track text boxes The track code you entered in Step 2 above will automatically be the first track included in a text box 4 Enter the track codes for one or two or three additional tracks If you do not enter any track codes the analysis will still be done for the single track you entered in Step 2 above 5 Finally click the GO button to start the analysis Note You can remove tracks from the Multi Track boxes by using the CLEAR buttons Aqueduct Inner and Main Track Recognition Professional Edition Only Aqueduct Inner and Main track recognition now handled automatically by the Automatic Analysis Function Starting in Version 13 1 when using the Auto Function in the Analysis Module of the Professional Edition to update Handicapping Profiles Gap statistics and Profile Performance statistics it is no longer necessary to set the Main or Inner Dirt Track setting for Aqueduct

19. s Version 13 1 Analysis Module Screen Shown about to run a Multi Track Impact Value Analysis Setting the Race Screens There are two ways to set Race Screens for the types of races you want to analyze One way is to use the Quick Screen option buttons The other is to use the Detailed Race Screens Module Using the Quick Screens and Quick Dates Three screens can be set right on the Analysis Module display The Race Type options are Non Maiden only or Maiden Only or both The Track Condition options are Dry Tracks only or Off Tracks only or both Quick Dates include several useful date ranges such as This Month Last Month This Year Last Year etc Using the Detailed Race Screens The Detailed Race Screens which have always been a key feature of the ALL Ways Analysis Module are also available You should use the Detailed Race Screens if you want to segment the races more than can be done with the Quick Screens CREATE SCREENS Button Click this button to display the Detailed Race Screen Module MODIFY SCREENS Button Click this button to return to the Detailed Race Screen Module CLEAR SCREENS Button Click this button to remove all Race Screens including both Detailed Race Screens as well as the Quick Screens NOTE For a thorough description of the available Detailed Race Screens and how to set them please see Chapter 5 of the ALL Ways Version 12 User Manual Analysis Module under the topic How to Analyze Only Selected Races
20. t Note You can remove tracks from the Multi Track boxes by using the CLEAR buttons Winning Horse Impact Values All on screen and all printed Search Definition test reports now include the Win Impact Value for all the horses that qualified for the Search Definition parameters For example an Impact Value of 2 2 for a Search Definition means that all horses selected by the Search Definition won 2 2 times their fair share of races These Impact Values are also broken down for each primary race type Printing and Displaying Search Definition Test Results After a Search Definition test is completed no test report will be printed or displayed on screen unless you have taken some action as described below Test One Function To print a full test report turn on the PRINT FULL TEST REPORT check box after clicking the TEST ONE button The default for this check box is OFF You must turn it on before you run the test if you want to print the report A one page test report will be printed Test All Function To print a full test report turn on the PRINT FULL TEST REPORT check box after clicking the TEST ALL button The default for this check box is OFF You must turn it on before you run the test if you want to print the full report Note that this option will print out a one page report for each individual Search Definition that is tested To print a condensed test report a nice paper saver turn on the PRINT CONDENSED TEST REPORT check box
