3. rface I OPERATION Place Scale on a horizontal flat surface 1 Press the ON OFF TARE key 2 Wait until 0 0 is displayed 3 Place the object to be weighed on the hook 4 Using the UNIT key you can switch between weighing units Il TARE WEIGHING 1 Turn on scale as described above 2 Place a container such as a bucket on the hook 3 Press ON OFF TARE once and wait until 0 0 is displayed 4 You may now add items to the container to obtain only the weight of the contents Ill CALIBRATION This scale has been calibrated at the factory prior to shipment Do not attempt calibration unless you are having trouble obtaining accurate weight results Use caution when calibrating This scale requires a substantial amount of weight to calibrate properly Only use certified weights 1 Turn OFF the scale 2 Press and hold the UNIT amp ON OFF TARE keys at the same time until a random number displays You can now release both keys 3 Press the ON OFF TARE key once The display will show the required weight in KG or LB depending on the mode used last 4 Place the required weight onto the scale and press the ON OFF TARE key once more The display will show PASS and return to normal weighing Calibration is complete V TROUBLESHOOTING The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries incorrect calibration overload or operating on an unstable surface Please keep this in mind
