SnakeEye Fiberscope User Manual I INTRODUCTION Congratulations on your purchase of Aqua s fiberscope This high quality fiberscope will provide years of reliable service when properly operated and maintained II IMPORTANT NOTE Failure to operate and maintain this fiberscope in accordance with the instructions in this manual may result in damage to the unit damage to other personal property or personal injury HI GETTING STARTED Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the components Each of the following items is stored in an individual compartment within the portable carrying case Each compartment is designed to accommodate and protect a specific component and the components should always be stored in the appropriate compartment when not in use a Fiberscope b Fiberscope Eye Piece c Streamlight Strion Portable Rechargeable Light source d Streamlight Manual e Light source Charger Please refer to Streamlight Manual f AC adapter for charger Please refer to Streamlight Manual g DC adapter for charger Please refer to Streamlight Manual h Optional right angle mirror 1 Optional C Mount Camera for Connection to SnakeEye Before use charge the light source according to the enclosed Streamlight Strion manual IV PUTTING IT TOGETHER There are two methods of using this fiberscope 1 Asa standalone fiberscope a Connect the light source to the fiberscope b Connect2. the eyepiece figure b to the fiberscope c Attach the optional right angle mirror to the tip of the fiberscope if needed d Turn the light source on by rotating the bottom of the light source e Adjust the focus for clear image see figure 2 Connected to the SnakeEye f Connect the light source to the fiberscope g Connect the optional C Mount camera to the fiberscope h Connect the SnakeEye 4 foot cable to the C mount camera i Connect the SnakeEye 4 foot cable to the SnakeEye display j Attach the optional right angle mirror to the tip of the fiberscope if needed k Turn the light source on by rotating the bottom of the light source l Adjust focus for clear image please refer to l e
