IFREMER SCOOP user manual 4 Presentation of the SCOOP software The SCOOP software isa quality check QC chain customized foroceanographic data collected e Ata given point on all or part of the water column on vertical profiles station e Ata given point of the watercolumn during a given lapse of time time series This check consists in running a number of standardized tests in compliance with the recommendations of the Intergovemmental Oceanographic Commission upstream any archiving or broadcasting of this data In addition it enables handling the files SCOOP comprises the following functions e The monitor enabling to chain the various functions e The modules of the QC section assuch These modules are independent from one another e The tools The organization of the software in its operating version is SCOOP_HOME bin data Ex cutables Traits de c tes isobathes The SCOOP HOME directory is indicated with an environment variable The application s environment vanables are e HOME_CUMATO specifying the directory storing the climatology files e HOME _ETOPOS specifying the directory storing the etopo5 dat file e SCOOP HOME specifying the directory grouping the set of files required for the project e SERVEUR_DATA specifying the directory storing the copies of the data summaries to be archived in the SISMER server SISMER SC OO P MU 110 V4 2 02 05 00 Page IFREMER SCOOP user manual 4 1
