5. ining all necessary data and a fair level of security Message encryption Since the TIG Tracking Internet Gateway can be placed anywhere on the internet it is preferable to have some sort of encryption of the messages between the UT user Terminal and the TIG For that purpose AES has been chosen with a block size of 128 bits Encryption will be done using a pre shared key which is entered by the user The key must be 128 bits long UDP ports The administrator of the TIG must choose an UDP port that the TOB Tracking Object can connect to This port value must be configured on the TOB When the TOB sends the register message it must use the same port number as source port as it will use to listen for incoming messages from the TIG The TIG must send all messages to the TOB to the source port number of the register message The following default port numbers has been defined 7475 7474 For more details please contact Thrane amp Thrane GTAC via extranet eSupport at http extranet thrane com Support Technical 20Support aspx Thrane amp Thrane A S Lundtoftegaardsvej 93 D DK 2800 Kgs Lyngby Denmark T 45 39 55 88 00 F 45 39 55 88 88 info thrane com www thrane com Bank Danske Bank Comp reg 65 72 46 18 VAT DK 20 64 64 46 Page 3 of 5 Thrane amp Thrane Document number 95 134282 EXPLORER 727 Terminal usage modes Software release ver 1 14 enables the terminal to operate in two different modes A
