Area Column Text Area Columns are used like Text Blocks but are intended for very long text as in a more than 20 lines They allow the user to scroll through them independently rather than scrolling the Work Space frame as a whole These Text Areas have fixed dimensions so they can be repeatedly stacked in a table and provide large amounts of text without requiring the user to scroll through all of it to transition between table rows Another advantage to this columns type is that they allow an easy way to copy text from the table If the user clicks on one of these fields and presses Ctrl A they can rapidly highlight the entire contents of the Text Area Then by pressing Ctrl C or by right clicking and selecting Copy they can place this text on the Windows Clipboard and then paste it into any other record document or other application from there Image Column Image Columns are comparable to and often linked with Inline Image Record Fields refer to Record Window Additional Field Types Where photos or other graphics are associated with a given record these images may be displayed on the table Like Inline Image Record Fields these graphics are of fixed dimensions and will be therefore be stretch or shrunken if necessary to fix them in place Typically this is used to display the photo of an employee customer or system user Of note the actual file is not stored in the
