User s Manual for MDU 0119FXT MDU 0120FXC 10 100Mbps NWay Switch Modules Revision 1 0 Edition 1 01 May 1999 The following sections describe the hardware function usage and specifications of four different modules 100Base FX SC ST Optic Fiber Switch Module These modules provide one 100Base FX SC ST optic fiber port with full switch function for user to expand network size in 2000 meters distance The optic fiber port lets user has the choice to link this hub to optic fiber environment There are two kinds of connector ST or SC types This port is running in 100Mbps half and full duplex mode The connection rule and limitation are same as normal optic fiber repeater The LED functions are same as TP module Link Activity Speed Full duplex and Collision One slide switch for setting half or full duplex mode Installation Procedure 1 Turn switch hub off 2 Remove screws from the blank bracket with label Expansion Slot 3 Lift the handles and let both edges of PCB following the Plastic Guide slide into the end of slot then the surface of front panel of module will fit into the slot exactly 4 Fasten the screws 5 Turn on power 6 The corresponding LED will light up Specifications Standard TEEE802 3 IEEE802 3u Network Media 100Base FX Multi mode 62 5 125 micron fiber optic cable Connector SC ST optic fiber connector LED indicators Link Activity Speed FDX and COL LEDs Dimensi2. on 110mm W x 91mm L x 34mm H Temperature Operating 0 to 50 Storage 20 to 70 Humidity Operating 10 to 90 RH Storage 5 to 90 RH Input Power Requirement 5V 1A max Registrations FCC Part 15 Class A CE
