27. it is advisable for the machine to run at low rpms for about 10 minutes while parked Afterwards make some short movements with low loads for about 1 minute After following these procedures now the machine is ready for the job Imperador 3100 Instruction Manual Stara 7 OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENTS 7 1 Diesel engine The engine has a break in period which runs for the first 50 working hours It is important that during this period the engine is not subjected to the high rates of acceleration or maximum torques thus assuring its durability job safety and economy Some recommendations must be followed during the break in period to guarantee engine life e Check the engine oil level Check the engine cooling system water level Avoid forcing the engine at lower rpms e Avoid over loading the engine while the normal operating temperature has not been reached Avoid over loading the machine e Avoid turning off the engine when at high rpms Avoid submitting the engine to low rpms for long periods Avoid running the engine in lower gears for prolonged periods e Engine working temperatures should be kept between 75 C and 95 Maintenance and lubrication standards should be rigorously followed Regarding the fuel system always use clean fuel water free free of suspended particles sand impurities etc The fuel must be centrifuged as per Brazilian standard CNP 04 Daily drain the fuel system throug

When changing between defensives to be applied it is necessary to do a complete system wash down to avoid the phytotoxicity of the crops To clean out the spraying system follow these steps 1 Drain all remaining solution in the tank 2 Fill the tank with approximately 1500 liters of clean water and run the spray system 3 Place the Topper controller in manual spray mode and raise the system pressure to maximum 4 With the booms open turn on the spraying by using the individual section switches on Topper next begin turning off individual sections one at a time with an interval of 30 seconds apart between sections 5 After all sections have been turned off reverse the process by turning on the sections every 30 seconds apart between each section 6 After all the sections are open turn off the spray and the spray pump 7 Disconnect all return hoses on the spray control valve banks C and D allow the water to drain Figure 78 and Figure 79 8 Remove the locking clip A then remove connection B Figure 77 9 With the control valve bank return hose open now go to the solution tank and open the tank drain valve and wait until it has been completely drained ER Imperador 3100 Instruction Manual 10 Repeat steps 2 to 8 again should there remain any residual product in the circuit Steps 2 to 8 should be repeated until total clean out has been completed Figure
