4. ected the pressing of the switch on the Palm Mic will activate the Palm Mic 2 Headset Part ATT8421A RJ45 connector gt 1 To use the Headset with the AdvanceCommunicator unplug the privacy handset supplied with the unit and remove it from its cradle and plug the RJ45 connector of the Headset into the corresponding RJ45 receptacle on back of the AdvanceCommunicator 2 Once connected audio will be transferred to the Headset 3 PTT calls can be made with the PTT Space Bar or the PTT button on the cable on the Headset 3 Foot Pedal Part ATT 8400A with Part ATT8405A 1 To use the Foot Pedal with the AdvanceCommunicator unplug the privacy handset supplied with the unit and remove it from its cradle 2 Plug the RJ45 connector of the Y Adapter Cable Part AT8405A supplied into the corresponding RJ45 receptacle on back of the AdvanceCommunicator RJ45 connector 3 Plug the RJ45 connector of the Foot pedal into one of the corresponding RJ45 receptacle of the Y Adapter Cable AT8405A SC y RJ45 F connector 4 To use both the Headset and Foot Pedal with the AdvanceCommunicator simultaneously use the Y connector adapter Part ATT8504A supplied with the Foot Pedal 5 Unplug the privacy handset supplied with the unit and remove it from its cradle and plug the RJ45 connector of the Y Adapter Cable into the corresponding RJ45 receptacle on back of the AdvanceCommunicator
5. lt in speaker in the AdvanceCommunicator 4 To receive a call in Hands free mode press the SEND GREEN Button on the phone or press briefly on the EPTT Space bar and speak towards the Microphone The caller s voice will be heard via the built in speaker in the AdvanceCommunicator 5 To end a call in hands free mode press the END RED button on the phone Making and Receiving calls via the Handset 1 To make a call using the AdvanceCommunicator Handset dial the desired number on the phone s keypad and press the SEND GREEN button Use the handset as you would with a regular desktop phone 2 To receive a call with the Handset lift the Handset and press the SEND GREEN button on the phone s keypad Use the handset as you would with a regular desktop phone 3 To end a call while using the handset place the handset back into the cradle and press the END RED button on the phone Use of the AdvanceCommunicator with Dispatch calls 1 To respond to a dispatch call in Hands free mode press and hold down the EPTT Space Bar and speak towards the Microphone 2 To respond to a dispatch call using the handset pick up the handset press and hold down the round EPTT button on the back of the Handset and speak into the handset as you would with a regular desktop phone 3 To hear the other party in a dispatch call release the EPTT Space bar in Hands free mode or the round EPTT handset button if using the Handset Volume Control
6. vanceCommunicator 1 Remove the rubber protective cover from the connector receptacle covering the micro USB connector on the BOTTOM of the handset handset facing you and insert the USB connector at the end of the one cable into the phone with the cable connector facing to the LEFT 2 Remove the rubber protective cover from the connector receptacle covering the audio connector on the TOP of the handset handset facing you and insert the straight audio pin connector at the end of the other cable into the handset 3 Insert the 2 pin connector into the receptacle below the rim on the left side of the AdvanceCommunicator Inserting into removing the phone from cradle 1 Insert the bottom of the phone behind the ridge on the cradle and press the top of the phone back into the Cradle until it snaps securely into place Release button to 4 remove phone Audio Plug 2 Pin connector Ridge of cradle USB Plug 2 To remove the handset from the Cradle press the release button on the top of the cradle The Handset will snap forward allowing the phone to be removed out of the cradle Making and Receiving calls in Hands Free Mode 1 Turn on the phone 2 To make a call in Hands free mode dial the desired number on the phone keypad and press SEND GREEN BUTTON Speak towards the Microphone situated on the bottom right corner of the AdvanceCommunicator 3 The voice of the person you are calling will be heard via the bui
