1. mains defective after the second attempt to repair or replace the product or it is econo mically unfeasible to repair or replace the product the customer has the right to can cel the order contract or reduce payment accordingly KESSEL must be notified im mediately in writing of defects in a product In the case that the defect is not visible or difficult to detect KESSEL must be notified immediately in writing of the defect as soon as it is discovered If the product is repaired or replaced the newly repaired or replaced product shall receive a new warranty iden tical to that which the original defective product was granted The term defective ur KESSEL product refers only to the product or part needing repair or replacement and not ne cessarily to the entire product or unit KES SEL products are warranted for a period of 24 month This warranty period begins on the day the product is shipped form KES SEL to its customer The warranty only ap plies to newly manufactured products Ad ditional information can be found in section 377 of the HGB In addition to the standard warranty KESSEL offers an additional 20 year warranty on the polymer bodies of class II fuel separators grease separa tors inspection chambers wastewater treatment systems and rainwater storage tanks This additional warranty applies to the watertightness usability and structural soundness of the product 10 A requirement of this additio2. and the safety lock A locked into place Ill 12 To close the closure valve first lower the sa fety lock A 90 degrees to the horizontal po sition Illustration 13 Number 1 Now push down the red closure handle Number 2 a twisting motion while pus hing down the red handle makes this ea sier Once in the down position the red clo sure handle should be turned in the clock wise direction Ill 14 Number 4 so that the base of the handle is securely locked in the recessed plastic holders The closure valve now is in the closed shut off position Ill 15 To open the closure valve perform the above steps in the reverse order Once open it should be checked that the red clo sure handle is in the fully up position and that the safety lock is re clipped into place to assure that the closure handle is not un intentionally closed 6 Inspektion und Wartung During inspection and maintenance of the Aquailift F Lifting Station the closure valve should also be inspected and serviced if re quired In the closed position no more than j liter of water should pass through the clo sure lock within a period of 15 minutes Note Disassembling the closure valve is not allowed Defective parts should be re placed with only original KESSEL replace ment parts 7 Warranty 1 In the case that a KESSEL product is de fective KESSEL has the option of repairing or replacing the product If the product re
