TM Gauge www ScanGauge com Quick Start Guide Plugs into the diagnostic connector already built into all 1996 or newer cars and light trucks 1 Quick Start Installation e Locate your vehicle s OBDII connector Generally located under the dash on the left or right side of the steering column OBDII Connector e Choose a suitable location for the ScanGaugell and Mount your ScanGaugell using the supplied velcro strips e Route the cable from the ScanGaugell to your vehicle s OBDII connector Typical OBDII Connector location E Small end of the cable DO NOT mount the ScanGaugell over an airbag cover connects to your ScanGaugell where it could be propelled by a deploying airbag e Connect the small end of the cable to your ScanGaugell e Start your vehicle or turn the ignition to the ON position e Connect the large end of the cable to your vehicle s OBDII connector Large End of the cable connects to your vehicle e Once connected with the vehicle running or the ignition in the ON position your ScanGaugell will display the CONNECTING screen for a few seconds and then switch to the HOME screen e When the HOME is displayed your ScanGaugell is connected and has established communication with your vehicle s computer Proceed to setup Less than 30 seconds CONNECTING Screen HOME Screen ScanGauge Layout ScanGauge Back H Front Back A Function Selection Button F OBDII
