5. 51 SETUP PERFORMANCE MENU PERFORMANCE SETUP MENU SETUP 1 Press the SETUP button SN The first Set Up Menu Screen will appear on the LCD Screen ENTER 2 The Performance Listing will be highlighted ES Press the ENTER button to access the Performance menu m S y Use the SCREEN RIGHT BUTTON and the CURSOR buttons to access GHT 3 9 e the following options shown below LEFT RI SEN TUNE 1 The pitch of this piano is very accurate and stable it is automatically set to standard A440 pitch when the piano is turned on C The Tuning feature of this piano makes it possible to adjust the pitch of C Es this instrument in fine intervals If necessary you can adjust the pitch of this piano to match the pitch of another instrument or singer Use the VALUE buttons or the VALUE wheel to select a tuning value in the range of 50 to 50 semitone steps or cents Press the VALUE buttons simultaneously to recall the default setting of 0 Performance Setup CURSER Tune 0 Fixed Level 100 Fade Time Octave Shift 0 FIXED LEVEL When the Touch Response of the Piano Keys is Fixed or without Touch Sensitivity the Fixed Level controls the overall sound output from the piano keys Fixed Touch Response is used when you would like the piano keyboard to play like an Organ Use the VALUE buttons or the VALUE wheel to select a fixed level volume value in the range of 10 127 Press the VALUE butt

Locate the back of the inner carton It is marked with a Usea SMALL knife to slit the center top and bottom tape e Remove the foam pieces as shown This will reveal the Do not open the front of the inner carton That will expose e Remove the accessories listed below from the foam before discarding the piano box 5 Demonstration Disks 6 Quick Start User Guide 7 A C Power Cord w fuse 3 8 RCA Connecting Cable for TV Tearthe plastic covering away from the piano bottom as tis not recommended you use a knife or sharp object to remove the plastic You are very close to the high gloss finish at this stage of unpacking ASSEMBLY 2 UNPACKING PIANO LEGS amp PEDAL ASSEMBLY A Get the Medium Sized box labeled Grand Pedal Grand Leg Carefully slit the tape and open the box as shown Liftoutallthe parts inside this box and gently remove the protective plastic covering Set aside on a soft surface Youare handling the high gloss lacquer finish during this procedure Be careful not to scratch or hit these parts against each other or let them come in contact with any other items B Parts and Pieces After you have completed unwrapping everything here is what you should have 3 Piano Legs 1 Pedal Assembly 2 Brass Support Rods 1 Wrench and Screwdriver Bottle of Polish Polishing Cloth G 8 Bolts and 8 Washers H 8 Brass Screws to Attach Pedal Support Rods mmoou n

C Control Rod Position During the unpacking these 3 brass rods sometimes come out of position Simply reposition the rods back in their rubber grommet holes as shown 10 ASSEMBLY 3 ATTACHING THE LEGS TO THE PIANO A Assembly Positions o o o01 50N You will see the following areas on the bottom of your piano Right Piano Leg Position Pedal Assembly Position Left Piano Leg Position Back Piano Leg Position Disk Drive Connection Panel Speakers Power Cord Input Serial Number B Install the Right Leg at the top on the Piano Take one of the piano Legs A and line it up to position 1 Use the bolts and washers in the piano leg box G Loosely thread both bolts and washers in the threaded lugs Then tighten Again be careful not to push the piano over when attaching the legs and pedal assembly Handle the high gloss lacquer finish carefully Do not install the right piano leg at position 3 at this point C Tighten the Bolts Tighten both bolts using the wrench provided D or a 3 4 socket wrench as shown D Install the Back Leg Install the back piano leg in position 4 as shown in Assembly Positions Use the same procedure as steps B amp C So far you have attached 2 of the 3 legs This is correct The third leg will be attached later 11 ASSEMBLY 4 PEDAL ASSEMBLY ATTACHMENT A Pre Pedal Assembly Tighten both knobs on the bottom of the

18. continues 40 RHYTHM SECTION PLAYING THE RHYTHM FADE START STOP E FADE TEMPO ONE TOUCH ACCOMP s ccs Sy p ll RHYTHM CONTROL SSSI SYNC INTRO ENDING START STOP FILL IN FILLTOVAR FADE COC a GC Finish the Rhythm Performance by fading out and the Rhythm Volume will gradually decrease Press the Start Stop Button Press the Fade Button The normal rhythm pattern begins to gradually Fade until completion ADJUST THE TEMPO CONTROLS The Tempo of the Rhythm Pattern can be adjusted with the Tempo Buttons the Value Buttons or the Data Wheel The Tempo is shown on the LCD Display as a numerical value from 40 to 250 BPM Beats Per Minute Press the Tempo Buttons to adjust the Tempo TEMPO There is a four beat indicator next to the TEMPO buttons that visually O QO Q OO DATA WHEEL Ww C indicates the tempo and the beat of the selected rhythm style Each style has its own preset tempo Note If you change the rhythm style during play the tempo will keep the previous Rhythm Styles Default Tempo However if you press the TEMPO buttons simultaneously it will set the tempo to the current rhythm styles default value Also Note The Tempo can also be adjusted from the performance screen When the Tempo Area of the LCD Display is highlighted then the Tempo can be adjusted using the Value Buttons or the Data Wheel To adjust Tempo during Playback see below 41
