FWT 335 GSM Wireless Receiver USER MANUAL SO PNANRYN S CONTENTS Introduction Packing List Installation External Antenna Signal Enhancement Equipment Specifications Operation Trouble Shooting Functions and Settings Maintenance 0 Warranty amp Technical Support SOWANINAMNWN NY Introduction Welcome to the GSM Wireless Receiver Platform This unique wireless terminal will allow you to replace your land line add an additional line to your home or office or to install phone service in areas where regular phone service is not available All that is required is a power outlet and GSM cellular service This wireless cellular terminal will power two standard telephone sets and will allow you to make and receive cellular calls directly from those telephone sets You will have top quality voice and audio transmission while taking full advantage of your cellular service Functions available with cellular service will be available with this unit However your standard telephone set must also support those functions Packing List After you open the box please check all components as shown below If anything is missing or damaged please contact your dealer immediately Wireless Terminal Power Adapter User Manual 2 Installation CAUTION Be certain that the power is not turned on while assembling the unit Antenna Screw the 12 leptospira antenna into the antenna base includes cab2. to one of the two RJ11 jacks on the back of the terminal using a standard 4 wire telephone cord A second extension may be connected to the remaining RJ11 jack if desired Connect the Power Once all connections have been made and the SIM card and battery pack have been installed you may now power the terminal by plugging the power adapter into a 115v 60amp power source Slide the Power Switch terminal back to the ON position Caution Use only the power adapter received with this terminal Use of a different adapter may void the warranty 4 Lightning ponnn N arrester Ep Aesse nessas sc atesomeesss ae Ground External Antenna Shown with Optional Lightening Arrester Signal Enhancement Cellular signal is difficult to predict Terrain and foliage between your installation and the cell tower will cause the cell signal to fluctuate diminish or disappear in certain locations You will want to find the best signal sweet spot for your terminal and make your installation at that location If the cellular signal in your area is less than ample you may wish to install your antenna out of doors The cable supplied with the enclosed antenna may be all you need to place the provided antenna in a better location Or you may need to install a larger external antenna with a coaxial cable lead from your roof to the terminal Signal amplifiers are sometimes necessary to enhance boost the signal received at the exter
3. amaged SIM cards must be replaced before starting up the GSM terminal Rechargeable Battery Pack Battery Open the battery cover on the bottom of the terminal This is the large cover on the left side of the terminal with the terminal back facing you Carefully push the tab away from you and lift the cover Connect disconnect the small cable to the white connector inside the battery well If inserting the battery pack be certain that the cable is placed into the well so that it will not interfere with the replacement of the battery cover Replace the cover by inserting the lower edge of the cover into place then lower the upper portion of the cover until it 1s secure Your battery pack will recharge while the FWT is connected to a power source During periods of a power outage the battery pack will allow a standby time of up to four hours and a talk time of up to 1 hour Actual time may vary and will depend upon the amount of charge in the battery the age of the battery personal calling habits and the strength of your signal Caution Always be certain that the power switch is OFF and that the power adapter is removed from the power source when connecting disconnecting the battery Receiver Platform senres Beeline i ne pa Telephone Standard Telephone Set Telephone Installation Any standard wired or cordless telephone set will work with this FWT 335 wireless cellular terminal Simply connect the base of the telephone

5. ber This will indicate the end of the phone number and the terminal will transmit immediately If you do not enter the terminal will wait approximately 10 seconds before transmission begins You will hear the phone ring or hear a busy signal once the connection has been made If you have dialed a prohibited number you will hear the busy signal See Settings If you receive an automated attendant you should be able to enter the necessary keys to perform the desired operations There may be some automated attendants that do not respond to your keystrokes In this case you must connect to the operator at that location Receiving a Call When the phone s ring take up the receiver or press the hands free button speakerphone Ending a Call When the call is ended place the receiver back into the cradle or press the hands free key once more Trouble Shooting Malfunction Reason Solution Power Light is not ON Check power source and battery for proper connection Be sure that the ON OFF slide switch is in ON position Always hear busy signal SIM Card is inserted improperly or the slot is not closed Terminal has not connected with the network Cannot connect with network Signal is too weak SIM card is not inserted SIM card is damaged Signal Indicator is low Weak signal move antenna or change locations Check antenna connection at the terminal Check installation of antenna into its base No Dialing Tone St

7. le Install the mobile antenna and cable by connecting the cable end to the SMA connector on the back of the FWT NOTE any quality 50 ohm antenna system may be used as an external antenna Ifa larger outdoor antenna is used we strongly recommend the use of a lightening arrester Power Insert the power adapter plug into the connector on the back of the FWT terminal DO NOT connect to a power source at this time SIM Card Installation CAUTION Never insert or remove the SIM card while the power is connected Always turn the terminal off and unplug the adapter from the power source Open the SIM card cavity by removing the cover on the bottom of the FWT case This is the small door on the right side of the terminal with terminal back facing you showing the image of a SIM card To open the cover carefully push the small tab away from you then lift the tab to remove the cover The SIM card slot is on the green circuit board below Move the cardholder to the left and lift The SIM card should be inserted with the gold pattern facing right and the small notch in the upper right corner Carefully close the cardholder and slide the holder to the right to lock it into place Replace the SIM card cover 3 SIM Card Care The SIM Card may be inserted removed from its holder only after power has been disconnected Avoid touching the gold pattern and keep away from any source of magnetism Do not let it come in contact with metal D
