IMPORTANT Your Electric Blanket is designed to pre heat your bed Never sleep with Electric Blanket turned on FITTING YOUR TIE DOWN ELECTRIC BLANKET Place the Electric Blanket onto the mattress towards the foot end of the bed The control switches should be under the Electric Blanket at the head end Ensure the heating wires do not extend under pillows or hang over the sides See Fig 1 Unroll the tie tapes and pass the tapes from end to end and side to side See Fig 2 Secure the tie tapes firmly with knots EM SS gt A A SA Jr u Fig 2 CARE amp CLEANING OF YOUR ELECTRIC BLANKET Taking care of your Electric Blanket is easy and safe as long as you follow the steps outlined below DO NOT dry clean your Electric Blanket Dry cleaning will damage the wiring DO NOT use bleach or dry cleaning fluids DO NOT use a wringer DO NOT iron the Electric Blanket DO NOT turn on the Electric Blanket until it is completely dry DO NOT use mothballs or sprays of any kind DO NOT machine wash DO NOT tumble dry SPOT CLEANING Unplug the Electric Blanket from the mains supply Wet sponge the affected area using a mild soap and lukewarm water solution Ensure the water temperature is less than 30 C Gently sponge the affected area with clean water Use a neutral coloured towel to absorb excess water HAND WASHING Do not allow the Electric Blanket controls or power plug to come into contact with any wate2.
