1. x 1 Dust cover acrylic x1 Lubrication oil 5 ml syringe Ball bearing ceramic x1 Drive belt rubber x1 6 Graphite cushion damping stuff for tone arm spindle fixing x2 Consonance U forbidden city series ASSEMBLING Fig 1 Open the box and take out all the components Place the main turntable base upon a rock with flat surface Remove the protective covering of the bearing shaft and ensure it is totally clean using a lint free cloth Fig 2 Put on the cotton gloves and pick up the black acrylic platter with the dip for the record label uppermost Hold it level over the damping ring right upon the bearing housing locate it carefully and gently lower it until it seats fully over the damping ring and bearing Fig 3 Place the ball bearing into the hollow Fig 4 Put the black acrylic platter fixed with bearing housing very gently down over the shaft taking care not to displace the ball It will be a very tight fit but once engaged it can drop suddenly lower the black acrylic platter fixed with bearing housing carefully by hand to prevent this Now spin the bearing to ensure it runs smoothly Fig 5 Using the supplied syringe put a few drops of oil 0 5ml around into the small hole at the top of the spindle Once you ve done this turn the bearing whilst gently lifting the bearing housing The oil will disappear into the bearing and wash down the shaft2. Because of the very tight clearances of the bearing there may still be small amounts of friction this will disappear as the bearing runs in Fig 6 Take out the motor housing and place it through the motor hole on the sub chassis by lifting a little the left side of sub chassis Fig 7 Take out the drive belts and run it round the motor spindle and then round the platter There are two ruts on the pulley of motor The above rut is for 45 rpm and the nether rut is for 33 rpm Different ruts for the different speed Only one switch control the motor It could be found on the top of the motor housing and is a simple on off By moving the motor housing by small amounts the drive belt can be adjusted to grip comfortably without undue slippage or coming off The exact tension can simply be adjusted at any time by moving the motor housing Fig 8 Use the adjustable feet of the turntable to level the turntable using the built in spirit level Fig 9 Fix the tone arm spindle with the 2 graphite cush ion as damping stuff on the both side of the main turntable base Fig 10 Connect the power cord of motor to the outlet of mains and the 5 pin cable to the phono amp you can start to play liu Fig 11 Recommend to use the dust cover while liu stop working TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Wow and Flutter Rumble Speed accuracy Motor AC power connection Less than 0 2 Greater than 80dB down
