6. fire or electric shock The Status LED 4 will light a steady red when the bat tery is charging It takes approximately 2 hours to charge the unit fully when connected to a stan dard USB port Turning the Speakers On amp Off To turn the speakers on press and hold the POWER button 5 until the Status LED 4 flashes blue To turn the speakers off press and hold the POWER button 5 until the Status LED 4 stops fashing blue If the speakers are not paired with a Blue tooth device within 5 minutes they will turn off automatically to conserve power Page 4 Naxa Electronics Pairing a Device with Bluetooth A device must be paired with the speakers before using them together for the first time To place the speakers in Pairing mode 1 2 If the speakers are on turn them off Press and hold the POWER button 5 until the speakers turns on and the Status LED 4 flashes blue The speakers willl remain in Pairing mode for 2 minutes While the speakers are in Pairing mode 1 Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device Enable it if it hasn t Use your device to search for nearby Bluetooth connections This function is usually in the Blue tooth settings menu refer to your device s instruc tion manual to learn more The speakers will announce themselves as NAXA NAS 3058 Select them from the list of devices If your device asks for a passcode use 0000 to com

8. h as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer in structions have been adhered to Power Sources This product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the rating label If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home consult your product dealer or local power company For products intended to operate from battery power or other sources refer to the operating instructions Grounding or Polarization This product may be equipped with a po larized alternating current line plug that has one blade wider than the other This plug will only fit into the power outlet in one direction This is a safety feature If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet try reversing the direction of the plug If the plug should still fail to fit contact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug Power Cord Protection Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them paying particular attention to cords at plugs con venience receptacles and at the point which they exit from the product Protective Attachment Plug The product may be equipped with an attachment plug with overload protection This is a safety feature See the operat ing instructions for replacement or directions to re set the protective device If replacement of the plu

11. o increase the volume Lights up to indicate which mode the speak ers are in Press and hold to turn the speakers on or off While the speakers are off press and hold to turn them on and enter Pairing mode USB charge port AUX connector Speaker Control 1 Speaker Control 2 Connect to a USB power source with the included cable AUX mode 3 5mm stereo connection for devices with 3 5mm line out or headphone output Connect to the Speaker Control 2 connector 9 on the other speaker Connect to the Speaker Control 1 connector 8 on the other speaker WWW NAXAa com Page 3 Connecting Power Your speakers have an integrated rechargeable bat tery Upon initial use the battery should be charged fully to ensure optimal performance and battery life Use the included USB cable to connect the speakers to a USB power source to charge the battery e Connect the small end of the cable to the USB charge port 6 of the unit e Connect the large end of the cable to a high power USB port of a computer The computer should be powered on The battery used in this device may pres ent a fire or chemical burn if mistreated Do not disassemble incinerate or heat the battery Do not leave the battery in a place subject to direct sunlight or ina car with its windows closed Do not connect the unit to a power source other than that which is indicated here or on the label as this may result in the risk of
12. plete the pairing process If the pairing process fails turn the speak ers off and repeat the process If the speakers are not paired with a device they will exit pairing mode after 2 minutes and return to standby mode For faster trouble free pairing we recom mend keeping the device within 3 feet of the speakers while pairing WWW NAXAa com Page 5 Using the Speakers When the speakers are connected to a Bluetooth de vice you can stream music wirelessly to the speakers from the device If your device supports it you can con trol playback with the buttons on the speaker To do this do this Start pause or resume audio Press Pll playback Decrease the volume level Press and hold K4 Increase the volume level Press and hold PP Skip to the previous track Press M4 Skip to the next track Press PPl Turn the speakers off Press and hold POWER Using the AUX Input Connector Connect devices without Bluetooth by using the AUX connection A 3 5mm stereo patch cable is required to make this connection 1 Use the included AUX cable to connect the device s headphone or line out jack to the AUX connector 7 found on the back of the speakers 2 Turn on the device and the speakers Lower the vol ume on both 3 Set the device volume to 80 of its maximum and then start playback 4 Press the button 3 to increase the volume gradually to a comfortable level Page 6
