Le 4 Pl Zt Aa 5 5 5 5 5 5 0 10 a INPUT Compressor GAIN Bass TREBLE VOLUME CD LINE IN PHONES Power FRONT PANEL CONTROLS 2992999 Input socket for connection of bass guitars The socket will accommodate High or Low output basses either Active or Passive Engages and disengages the on board compressor this compresses the input signal giving a punchier sound In association with the compressor is an LED to indicate when the compressor is active The amount of compression is controlled by the Gain control The higher the setting the more compression With most guitars compression will begin at about 5 6 on the control It is possible to have the compressor engaged but it only be active during certain periods of playing typically the most dynamic sections This control is used to set the level of gain present in the pre amp The higher the level of gain the more the signal will clip producing distortion The Gain control should be used in conjunction with the Volume control to produce the desired signal characteristics Controls the boost and cut of the low frequency response of the pre amplifier Controls the boost and cut of the mid frequency response of the pre amplifier Controls the boost and cut of the high frequency response of the pre amplifier Sets the overall listening level of the amplifier Stereo jack socket provided for connecting an external sound source such as CD players MP3 players Minidisc et2.
