D MCL Loader Version 2 User s Guide Press EN TER when you have entered a new field value or CLEAR gt to return to the Setup M enu Baud Defines M CL Link communication speed Rate valid entries are 1200 Bauds to 38400 Bauds Default value is 38400 Protocol Defines how M CL Link formats addresses and handles file transfer on network T his applies only to the addresses formatted on the network The first digit defines the address format A 0 indicates that the decimal addressing is chosen 001 to 099 a 1 indicates that a hexadecimal addressing is selected 001 to 254 Thesecond digit defines the size of frame counter in a file transfer 0 3 or 4 digits Default valueis 14 Block M aximum block size for transmitting frames on the network Size Notethat this value is the maximum frame size and not a maximum size for data The maximum value for this field is 512 characters Allowed values are 64 128 256 or 512 Default value is 512 MCL S24 RF Setup Pressing 3 in the Setup M enu displays the Configurator M enu CONFIGURATOR 1 16 View config params Net Id Subnet Mask Default router Terminal IP Address Diversity Clear Enter Figure 2 8 MCL S24 Set Up Usearrow keys to travel into the different items of this menu Press ENTER when you have chosen an item to be modified Press CLEAR gt or select Exit if you want to exit and reboot the terminal 2 8 MCL Code

18. ber of terminals The activation costs one or two unit s depending on the interpreter you activate To activate an M CL Code Interpreter the application needs this hardware key with a minimum of 1 or 2 unit s remaining Thehardwarekey is not required to load M CL Codelnterpreter into theterminal H ardware keys may be chained on one parallel port but M CL Loader only takes units from the first key plugged into the port Note The runtime activation code is stored in the N VM Flash M emory in theterminal It isthen permanently saved Erasing the NVM memory on the terminal without performing a Remove M CL Code operation means the L O SS of the activation code and unit s 1 1 D MCL Loader Version 2 User s Guide Installing MCL Loader To install the M CL Loader application 1 OOV Oe 10 11 Insert the M CL Collection CD ROM disk into the CD ROM drive Click the Start button on the task bar Select Run Type D setup exe and click OK replace D with the CD ROM drive letter Click N ext when the introductory screen appears Click Yes to accept the license agreement W hen prompted type your name and company in the appropriatefields Click N ext Click N ext to accept the default directory or click Browse to select a different directory Click OK then N ext Click N ext to install all the M CL programs or select M CL Loader and de select all the other options Click N ext to accept
