ATRIUM_ USER MANUAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS During installation all appropriate official regulations and reguirements of the installation manual should be followed Before installing and using the cabin carefully read through this manual The manufacturer is not liable when an accident or damage is caused by negligence or failure to fulfil the requirements presented in this manual or by use of the cabin in conditions different from those indicated on the data plate located on the cover of the electronic unit The manufacturer is also not liable for damage caused by unpurposeful use of the cabin and violation of conditions of transportation and storage NOTE Separate electrical appliances producing steam or humidity are not to be used inside the cabinet NOTE If the supply cord of the appliance is damaged it must be replaced by the qualified persons in order to avoid hazard NOTE In case of malfunction or abnormal functioning of any device the unit should be disconnected from the mains and a specialist of technical maintenance to be called in The use of the cabin in case of malfunction is strictly forbidden When the power is on it is strictly forbidden to open the devices of the unit incl the panel or to use the unit NOTE After using the cabin make sure that the mixer and the water flow are safely turned off WARNING Only allow children to use the appliance without supervision when adequate instructions have been given so th2. 3 lf the location of the cabin is unfavourable metal structures in the ceiling and walls a building with a metal roof etc for the reception of radio programs by means of an indoor antenna e too few stations are received or the sound quality is poor use a local FM outdoor antenna or a network For the connection of the coaxial cable from the latter to the radio the cabin is supplied with an extra plug This work should be carried out by a professional 4 The column is fitted with a 3 5 mm audio socket for external audio equipment CD MP3 etc 5 Switching between the radio and an external audio equipment is performed from the control panel of the cabin following the instructions in the User Manual 6 The manufacturer is not liable for the sound quality of the radio if the above named requirements are not met MAINTENANCE The temperature of water may not exceed 60 C The cabin can be cleaned using a soft cloth and liquid detergents if necessary Washing powder abrasive cleaning mixes rough materials and solvents are not suitable for cleaning During mechanical maintenance works the cabin has to be electrically disconnected Anti scale treatment After approximately 40 hours of using the steam cabin or when the switch display gives the error message E 2 it is necessary to maintain the steam generator with an anti limescale product You may use the special anti limescale product by Balteco or any other analogous

6. d input temperature of hot water from 50 C to 60 C The new hose sets supplied with the appliance are to be used and that old hose sets should not be re used The cabin has passed functional and dielectric unit tests On installation to facilities under state supervision or at the customer s request pre delivery and acceptance tests are carried out by a third party in accord ance with the requirements of IEC364 7 701 The cabin should be stored and transported following the handling markings on the package transportation can be carried out in a closed standard vehicle with packages loaded tightly side by side The temperature in the storage room should not be below 25 C and above 60 C at average humidity level up to 95 STEAM SAUNA FUNCTIONS Using the steam sauna To switch on the steam sauna connected it to the mains supply When connected to the mains the number displays indicating the internal temperature of the cabin are lit on the internal and external side of the panel and the steam sauna is ready for use The steam chromotherapy fog tropical rain Scot tish shower vertical massage and radio functions are controlled from the switch panel shown on the figure Pressing any button on the panel gives a short beep pressing a wrong button gives a long beep The time of continuos operation of the steam cabin after using any of the functions is limited to 2 hours After this the cabin switches off automatically in cas
7. e the user has forgotten to switch off the cabin To continue using the sauna the functions need to be switched on again When keeping button on the switchboard pressed down over 1 5 seconds all the active functions are switched off Steam function After connection to the mains the upper display of the control 1 2 3 panel will show the temperature inside the cabin from 20 C The default temperature set by the manufacturer is 43 C can be changed and the maximum temperature is 50 C To switch on the steam function press button the indicator lights up After a few minutes the steam jets will start to soray steam To switch off the steam function press again button the indicator will turn off To enter a temperature other than 43 C press button and hold it down until the display will start to blink Now use and but tons to select the new temperature After a while the display stops blinking and will show again the temperature in the cabin The selected temperature can be changed also while the steam function is active using the and buttons Each press will change the temperature by 1 C The selected temperature will be valid for next times of use until a new temperature is entered or the cabin is disconnected from the mains If the massage function is switched on at the same time then pressing the and buttons will change the massage speed 7 mac Li l Note Depending on a

10. on of the respective memory slot and you can listen to the preselected station Volume is controlled with two buttons and 3 located on the lower part of the switch panel and the timbre through button available are 4 different timbre shades The Balteco sound booster system can also be connected to an audio system located outside the cabin This can be a CD or MP3 player which has a standard line output with 0 3 5mm socket The line output should be connected with a 3 5mm stereo line to the socket on the external wall of the cabin To switch over from Balteco radio to an external audio system simply push simultaneously buttons and on the radio panel Aud should light up on the display Volume is controlled similarly to the radio Note Connection to other outputs designed for loudspeakers and others can damage the booster CONNECTION TO MAINS All electrical connection related to the installation of the cabin should be carried out by a professional attested electrician Connection should be performed following all local rules and regulations and the load permitted for one phase The cabins are designed for use in power networks with a neutral conductor and a protective conductor with a permanent connection with a potential eguivalent to the neutral conductor TN S system It is prohibited to use the cabin in alternating current systems TT and IT Prior to making any electrical connections make sure the line cables
11. ter connecting the cable WATER CONNECTIONS Water connections may be carried out only by an authorised professional observing all local rules and regula tions Water pressure in the water system may be from 1 5 to 4 bar In case of a thermal mixer the pressure difference between cold and hot water should not exceed 2 bar the input temperature of cold water to the cabin should be 10 C to 15 C and input temperature of hot water from 50 C to 60 C To ensure normal operation of the steam sauna mud filters should be installed before the water inlets REQUIRED The cabin must be installed so that it would be possible to turn off water quickly and if pos sible without moving the cabin STARTING UP THE RADIO 1 Untangle the FM dipolar antenna branches placed by the manufacturer to the roof of the cabin into transport position and try to find local radio stations using the search buttons on the switch panel of the radio see User Manual By changing the position and direction of the branches of the dipolar antenna try to find an optimum position with the best audibility and number of received stations When the result is satisfactory fix the antenna branches by means of a Velcro tape but not to metal structures Connect also the loudspeakers located in the roof 2 After performing the electrical connections of the cabin switch on the radio and try to find and save in the memory slots of the radio the respective stations see User Manual
