1. PRODUCT INFORMATION Read this information before proceeding It is the user s responsibility to take the following precautions at all times e Always stake or weigh down your Z Shade product Do not use in any potentially windy or rainy weather Wind and rain can damage your product and may also result in injury to you or others Therefore do not rely on product for protection in heavy or prolonged rain storms e The Z Shade product is designed as a temporary sun shelter Do not leave up for extended periods e Use caution when handling the Z Shade frame Avoid pinching hands or fingers as frame opens or closes e Do not use Z Shade product in a lightning storm e Do not leave your Z Shade product unattended e Do not build fires under Z Shade product PRODUCT CARE MAINTENANCE For long lasting durability and the best possible protection for your Z Shade product follow these care and maintenance instructions e Use a mild soap not detergent and plenty of water for top cleaning e Let the Z Shade top and frame dry completely before closing or storing to avoid mildew e The Z Shade frame will operate and look better if occasionally wiped with silicone spray especially before and after use in damp conditions Remove excess silicone residue before attaching top e Slightly tighten bolts if frame becomes loose 2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Z Shade Company Ltd manufacturer of the product warrants to the original purchaser who provides

3. com PACKAGE INCLUD e Roll Away Bag e 4 Piece Stake Kit O a Insert extension rods in the top of the legs to secure corner fabric to the leg b Then pull the fabric out over the end of the extension rods and secure using the sewn pockets Repeat on all 4 corners e Instant Canopy Frame e Two Tone Polyester Top Z INITIAL SETUP Please read each step before you attempt to set up Save these instructions for future reference O Lift outer legs up and slide out the inner legs until the snap button locks into the lt G d y fe Uy 1 With partner grasp two 2 Unfold the polyester top and place it over the open frame outer legs slightly lift off the ground and step backwards stopping at full arms length D With partner on opposite side of canopy place your frame in the center of area to be shaded Grasp outer legs lift off the ground and step backwards stopping at full arms length SET UP Ss Secure the polyester top to the frame by attaching the locking strips on the top with the locking strips on the frame Pull the corners down fully Grasp the top and bottom of the truss on opposite sides Slightly lift canopy up and push hands together while stepping backwards until canopy is fully opened Be careful not to pinch fingers or

5. push too hard so as to avoid damage to truss To engage Pull Pin slider at each corner first lift the fabric off of the slider then with one hand hold the top of the leg while pushing up on the slider with the other hand The Pull Pin will engage the hole Repeat on all 4 corners outer leg Repeat on opposite legs TAKE DOWN 1 With partner slightly lift up 2 adjacent outer legs depress snap button to unlock and telescope inner legs into outer legs Repeat on opposite legs 2 Now with the canopy in lowered position remove extension rods 1 Pull the fabric back out from the sewn pockets to gain access to extension rods 2 Carefully slide extension rods out from the top of the legs Repeat on all 4 corners Release Pull Pin at each corner by first lifting fabric away from slider With one hand push up on truss near the Pull Pin pull the pin out to release NOTE It is much easier to release Pull Pin when the canopy weight has been removed from the Pull Pin With partner on opposite side grasp top and bottom area of trusses Lift the canopy up slightly and shake it while stepping towards your partner until the unit is 3 4 closed With each partner grasping two outer legs push frame together to fully close it Be careful not to pinch fingers Store canopy in roll away bag WARNING Keep all flame and heat sources away from all product fabr
