12. the code is correct the LED blinks twice when the programming is complete Note If the LED does not blink twice repeat these instructions to enter the code again gt 6 Aim the NETGEAR Universal Remote at the device and press Power The device should turn off If it does not repeat these instructions trying each code for your brand until you find a code that works If you cannot find a code that works see Searching for a Device Code 7 Repeat steps these instructions for any additional devices you want to control 2 6 Programming the NETGEAR Universal Remote v1 0 March 2009 Universal Remote User Manual Searching for a Device Code If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed for your brand or if your brand is not listed try searching for your code 1 Press a device button once 2 Press and hold 55 SET until the red LED blinks twice 3 Enter 9 9 1 then the device group number see the following table The LED blinks twice Table 2 2 Device Group Codes Code Device Group 0 Cable cable converters video accessories satellite receivers 1 TV TVs 2 VCR VCRs DVD players 3 Audio audio amplifiers audio tuners CD players 4 Aim the remote at the device and press Power The remote sends codes from its library to the selected device starting with the most popular code first If the device responds go to step 7 5 If
