E supports the opening of drawers in cabinets It may be used only under the following conditions m In cabinets installed in dry interior rooms m In combination with Blum TANDEM or TANDEMBOX runner systems within permitted technical specifications Operating instructions SERVO DRIVE is an electronic opening feature for TANDEM and TANDEMBOX drawers Drawers open automatically with just a touch of the drawer front or with a light pull of the handle as shown in figure A This feature is based on an electric drive that once activated opens the drawer partially for you Leaning against the drawer element will not cause the drive unit to activate Deactivate the SERVO DRIVE system m When cleaning drawer fronts to prevent drawers from opening unintentionally m When unsupervised children have access to the kitchen area m When the system is unattended m When servicing the system To deactivate the SERVO DRIVE system An on off switch is recommended Otherwise SERVO DRIVE must be plugged into a readily accessible dedicated Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter GFCI outlet and unplugged from the GFCI to deactivate the system when it is not in use Unintended activation Inadvertent activation of SERVO DRIVE may occur if a drawer is accidentally bumped SERVO DRIVE activation will result in the drawer sliding outward into the kitchen area If this occurs without the knowledge of persons in the area unanticipated con
