AMERICA S LUXURY FIREPLACE ProFlame SIT DFC Power Supply Connection 2010 Mendota ProFlame Service Manual FV44 FV33 FV41 amp DXV35 DT 3 ProFlame SIT Valve Locate DFC Wiring Connection _ ae Cut amp Strip Off Wire Ends Install Spade Connectors k 45 DFC Power Supply Update 1 2 3 4 5 6 Locate the DFC wire as shown on the left side picture This connection can stop conducting power to the Valve Control Box This will then not let the unit spark and ignite the burners To correct this cut the DFC connection out of the wiring harness then strip as shown Only install the male and female spade connectors as shown Make sure they are crimped on securely Do not use connectors that expose any bare wire or metal on the spade clips If this is done and the bare metal comes in contact with any other metal surface this will short out the power supply All connections must done in a manner not to allow any part of the new connection to expose any bare wire or bare metal connector Wire nuts may be used if spade clips are not available Spade clips have a more professional look and ensure a job done correctly
