PIAA warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns them EXCLUSIONS This Limited Warranty specifically excludes defects resulting from misuse abuse neglect alteration modification improper installation unauthorized repairs submersion theft vehicle crash or by any other type of impact Except for the Limited Warranty stated above there are no warranties of PIAA products or any part thereof whether express or implied Any implied warranty of merchantability or any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose is expressly disclaimed Some states do not permit the disclaimer of implied warranties LENS CRACKS Crash or impact damage is not covered This can be determined by a chip or scrape on the lens or the housing Stress cracks sometimes occur when the lens is subjected to sudden and extreme temperature changes A stress crack has no chip or other sign of impact Stress cracks are covered under warranty EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES In no event shall PIAA be liable for any damages whatsoever including without limitation consequential damages incidental damages or damages for loss of use loss of business profits business interruption loss of business information loss of time inconvenience or other losses arising out of the use misuse or inability to use a PIAA product PIAA reserves the right to change the design its products without any obli2. PIAA BMW L E D RING BULB Read this manual before installing and using product COMPATIBLE WITH 5 Series E39 97 03 X5 E53 02 05 L E D Bulb 2 Wiring Adapter 2 BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION Park car on flat surface with adequate room to work around the car 2 Turn off car and set parking brake 3 Open hood of car 04 07 06 INSTALLATION THERE ARE TWO METHODS OF INSTALLATION Method for E39 late model Must use wiring adapter Remove original position bulb according 2 Disconnect coupler of original position bulb to vehicle service manual 3 Install L E D bulb in the original position 4 Connect A Side of Wiring Adapter to back side bulb location of L E D bulb 5 Connect B Side of Wiring Adapter to vehicle 6 Make sure all bulbs work correctly harness connector INSTALLATION Method 2 for E53 late model Remove back side cover of headlamp unit 2 Remove original headlamp high beam bulb according to vehicle service manual 3 Remover original position bulb according 4 Disconnect coupler of original position bulb to vehicle service manual 5 Connect vehicle harness connector to L E D bulb 6 Install L E D bulb in the original position bulb location 7 Re install headlamp high beam bulb 8 Before installing back cover make sure all bulbs work correctly PIAA LIMITED WARRANTY With the exception of bulbs PIAA Corporation USA
