1. as TP030194b Figure 3 2 4 1 Remove the door module assembly from the side that is making noise e Refer to the Service Manual ESM section GW for removal instructions 2 Clean wipe off all of the old existing grease from the front window regulator slide rail 3 Apply Genuine Nissan Window Regulator Grease see Parts Information to the front window regulator slide rail after the old grease has been cleaned wiped off See Figure 4 and 5 NOTE GENUINE NISSAN WINDOW REGULATOR GREASE MUST BE USED for this repair This product is listed in the Parts Information This product is the ONLY approved grease for this repair a F 4 F tn Apply grease to this e 3 edge both sides Put a light film ot grease in the se Put a medium film of qrease In these areas End siew ot aide rail Puta light film of grease channel Figure 5 3 4 4 Re install the door module assembly 5 Re install the window e Close the door and make sure the regulator is all the way up e Using the location marked in step c Figure 3 Adjust the window to its original position then tighten it in place e Double check and make sure the window does not hit the roof when the door is opened and closed 6 Re install the door panel and any other parts that were removed 4 42. 3. ly IMPORTANT The purpose of ACTIONS above is to give you a quick idea of the work you will be performing You MUST closely follow the entire Service Procedure starting on page 2 as it contains information that is essential to successfully completing this repair 1 4 CLAIMS INFORMATION Submit a Primary Failed Part PP line claim using the following claims coding DESCRIPTION PFP_ OP CODE SYM DIA FRT RPL R amp l One Window 1 UH23AA 2 Regulator 1 Reference the 350Z Parts Catalog and use the indicated window regulator P N as the PFP 2 Reference the current Nissan Warranty Flat Rate Manual and use the indicated FRT SERVICE PROCEDURE e Part of this procedure will have you remove and re install the door glass e You must adjust the door glass after it is reinstalled Otherwise it may hit the roof when the door is opened and closed e Mark the door glass before you remove it This will help you re install it to its original adjustment position a Open the door and put tape on the top edge of the door glass see Figure 2 b Close the door and allow the l edge of the window window to raise to its normal closed door glass position TP030193 Figure 2 c Using the lower edge of the roof line as a guide Mark the window position with a pen see Figure 3 Use a pen or pencil to NOTE This marked position will be erie e A used to set the window adjustment when itis reinstalled
