Mounting Standard Highway Trailer Wheel and Tire Assemblies Tube Type Tires cont N If you have any doubt in the correct safe method of performing any step in the demounting mounting or inflating process STOP Seek expert assistance from a qualified person 7 Push the top bead down into the well of the wheel so that the bead in the valve area will be the last part of the bead to go over the rim flange Hold the tire in this position while the rotating arm runs the bead onto the wheel Be careful not to pinch or disturb the tube Center the tire on the rim while also centering the valve stem in the valve hole INSTALL THE VALVE CORE N Keep fingers clear of pinch points CH YN PF e eg e CE Ce 8 Check to be sure the wheel is securely fastened to the changer by the hold down mechanism 0o I VI 9 To prevent tube wrinkling or buckling carefully remove valve core to completely deflate the tube Reinsert valve core and firmly seat it 10 Use an extension air hose with gauge and clip on chuck to permit operator to stand clear of tire assembly Slowly inflate the tire to seat the beads until the beads pop onto the bead ledge of the wheel and the recommended PSI DO NOT EXCEED 40 PSI A TO SEAT BEADS If assembly is incorrect STOP DEFLATE CORRECT THE ASSEMBLY repeat procedure Never attempt to seat beads or other components or correc
