SERIOUS INJURY 1 Use the supplied cable ties and cord keepers to hold the harnesses out of harms way under the seat Replace the seat AFTER INSTALLING THE SEAT PULL UP ON IT TO ENSURE IT IS LOCKED INTO PLACE A LOOSE SEAT CAN SHIFT AND CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH PAGE REAR LIGHT BARS for TRIKES INSTALLATION

The bottom of the Light Bar is shaped to follow the ledge just below the trunk line PIC 3 Using masking tape or a non permanent marker make reference marks on the top and outside edge of the Light Bar Remove the Light Bar Before measuring or marking place a piece of masking tape in the general location of the hole to be drilled PIC 4 to help reduce the possibility of chipping the paint when drilling Make all reference marks on the tape Measure up from the ledge approximately 1 1 4 Measure out from the body line edge approximately 1 1 4 This is the location that the hole for the wire harness will need to be drilled PIC 4 Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the right side Open the trunk door and remove all of the trunk inner liner as per the service manual Using a center punch carefully mark the center on the drilling locations from Step 4 E En Before drilling the pilot hole on the left sitting on Trike side remove the OEM cord keeper and move the license plate wire harness out of the way from the inside of the trunk Using a 1 8 drill bit carefully drill a pilot hole in each side Using a 1 4 drill bit enlarge the two holes for the wire harnesses Remove the tape from the hole locations Using one of the included alcohol pads wipe the installation area on both sides of the Trike Route the wire harness for the left Light Bar through the left side hole The adhesive will not bond correctly if applied at temperat

5. ll not conflict with any component PIC 5 DRILL NEW HOLES IN on the Trike Using a center punch mark the center of each mark Using TRUNK UP 12 14 FROM a 1 4 drill bit carefully drill the new holes through the body FLOOR AND ONE INCH ih EITHER SIDE OF CENTER STEP 11 Route the wire harnesses around the outside edge of the trunk floor to the front of the trunk Route the wire harnesses up the center of the front of the trunk through the new holes Use tape to hold the harnesses along the edge and up the front of the trunk STEP 12 Use the included silicone to seal the holes around the wire harnesses The a silicone cures in 24 hours E FRONT WALL OF INSIDE OF TRUNK ATTENTION Secure all wiring away from any moving parts pinch points or F SHOWN extreme heat K ryakyn WILL NOT issue a warranty on any electrical component that fails due to pinched crimped broken RA Fd abraded melted or frayed wires PIC 6 Sy ven ae e Ca nt YELLOW STRIPE WIRE STEP 13 Install the Trunk liner removed in Step 5 STEP 14 Remove the seat and locate the 8 pin connector from the run turn brake controller to the rear lights Locate the output side of the controller PIC 6 The correct 8 pin connector will NOT have a RED wire with a YELLOW stripe It should be located on the left side under the passenger handrail PIC 6 and PIC 7 ATTENTION Kiiryakyn recommends the use of dielectric grease on electrical pairks a DA i eonneen
