1. or n Audio Lighting amp Communication Products i BIKEMP3 GL1800 2012 SHARK LIGHTS INSTALLATION WARNINGS Disconnect the negative cable from the battery To prevent injury ensure the engine and cooling system has cooled before installation of this product The memory of the clock radio and suspension system will be deleted when you disconnect the battery You will need to reset these once complete Installing The Lights 1 Disconnect the negative cable from the battery 2 Remove the front lower cowling as described in the service manual there should be six 5mm Allen bolts and 2 plastic clips that just pull out 3 Using small cutters or any suitable cutting tool cut out plastic tabs that retain the blanks in the lower cowling Clean the edges of the holes with a file or similar tool 4 Locate the gray light connectors that are taped to the front of the engine remove the right hand connector cover 5 Offer the lights to the cowling opens to test fit and finish remove the light 6 Us a generous amount of the supplied silicone adhesive to make several pads for the light to bed onto keep these pads away from the light opening so as not to be seen T With the cowling lying face down firmly press the light insert into position allow adhesive to dry as instructed on the package for a faster installation epoxy adhesive can be substituted Make sure that you align the lights so the beams are equal 8 Plug the li2. ghts into the gray connector 9 Refit the lower cowling if your happy with the position of the lights you can refit all the screws and clips to secure the lower cowling Installing The Supplied Switch Jumper Or Optional Switch 1 Remove the left L shaped trim from the top shelter you can use a plastic lever to get purchase under it start at the bottom near the bend it just clips out 2 Remove the two 5mm Allen bolts that hold the radio panel in place and remove it from the top shelter the switch can be fitted while in place or unplug the control unit to work on a bench etc The 4 pin connector for the switch is in a clear rubber boot located in the recess down towards the engine below where the radio panel sits locate this and plug the switch link or switch in to it Remove the back cover from the radio panel it just un clips Remove the switch blank plate it is held by two Philips screws insert the switch and use the two screws to secure it in place Follow the existing cable routes out of the panel and refit the radio back cover you may have to remove and replace some zip ties Reassemble in the reverse order and reconnect the battery o ao oS 308A BARTOW MUNICIPAL AIRPORT BARTOW FLORIDA 33830 702 465 4066 www bikemp3 com
