1. AUTOCROSS Pitt Race offers two versions of Autocross The first is our own Lowkey Autocross for novice drivers or those who are not as competitive The second is run in conjunction with the Steel Cities Region of SCCA Pitt Race Lowkey Autocross These Autocrosses are low pressure events for novice drivers Those not ready to go against the clock com petitively or for those tuning their vehicles for an SCCA event This provides a dynamic and fun atmosphere to all levels of drivers These events are timed but there are no awards classes or podiums It s you against yourself Lowkey Autocross provides a cone course on our 6 acre vehicle dynamics area These events will put your car control skills to the test as well as your car dynamics set up but without the competitive pressure Lowkey Autocross s are open to fully prepared and tuned vehicles down to your daily driver The Pitt Race Lowkey Autocross s are generally held on the Saturday prior to an SCCA event from noon to 4 p m Pre regis tration is available but not necessary and the cost is 40 Steel Cities Region SCCA Autocross Open to the public no membership required Generally held on Sunday s from 8 a m to 5 p m the SCCA au tocross provides a competitive timed event consisting of a cone course on our 6 acre vehicle dynamics area These events will put your car control skills to the test as well as your car dynamics set up SCCA Autocross s are open to fully prepared
2. and tuned vehicles down to your daily driver This is a great way to get some experi ence handling your car in a variety of control situations The cost is 40 per event and pre registration available on the SCCA page but it is not required Minors who will be on course are required to get both parent guardian signatures on a consent form at registration SCCA has loaner helmets available to those who do not have one or forget theirs at home Head over to http stcsolo com schedule for more information Registration Requirements Drivers must be licensed and over 18 years old Anyone under 18 requires a parental consent form to be signed at registration Participants use their own vehicle Pitt Race does not have rental vehicles available Driver also must have a qualified Snell 2005 helmet Rentals are available for the event on a first come first serve basis for 10 at the Pitt Stop Pro Shop P2tESBURGH ww NTERNATIONAL T MR O COMPLEX FLAGS HAND SIGNALS AND ON TRACK DEMEANOR Flags Hand Signals and On Track Demeanor It is expected that all Autocross drivers understand all flags and hand Signals which will be covered in the pre event drivers meeting Absolute compliance with any flag displayed by any cone worker is required Driv ers who fail to observe the flag signals will be expelled from the event with no refunds Please consult Pitt Race staff regarding any safety com munication or procedure Any driver engaging in unspo
