The repair or replacement that is necessary in connection with faults that arise after one 1 year after the date of delivery of the product to the customer The repair or replacement that is required in connection with faults due to improper or careless use of the product or that are caused by the product being used for another purpose than the one for which it is intended in which regard it applies that if the customer is a dealer this dealer will indemnify Handicare against possible claims from users or other third parties for faults caused by incorrect or careless use of the product Parts that are subject to wear and parts for which the need for repair or replacement of the parts is the actual consequence of normal wear These can include but are not limited to tyres shrouds arm pads seatings etc Irrespective of that stipulated under 2 it applies as far as an electric product is concerned that with regard to the battery that forms part of the product warranty is only given in case of faults or non functioning of the battery that are demonstrably the direct consequence of material faults or manufacturing errors A fault or non functioning of the battery as a result of normal wear is not covered by the warranty as meant in these warranty stipulations Similarly not covered by the warranty are faults or non functioning that are the consequence of improper or unprofessional use of the product or the battery that is part of the product

16. e Support the wheelchair under the battery tray so that both drive wheels remain on the ground e Remove the shock breaker see replacing shock breaker e Loosen the bolts A with washers e Loosen the bolt B and remove the bolt and the nut C with the washers The tube D will come loose Mount the new tube in the reverse order After mounting the tube remove the support The wheelchair is ready for use 3 7 2 Replacing the drive unit Replace the drive unit as follows e Support the wheelchair under the battery tray so that both drive wheels remain on the ground e Remove the protective cover at the front and the relevant side cover see replacing covers e Remove the driven wheel see replacing driven wheel e Remove the shock breaker see replacing shock breaker e Remove the tube from under the drive unit see removing tube under drive unit e Pull the motor cable connector A of the relevant drive unit out of the power module e Lead the motor cable out through the notch in the battery tray e Loosen the Allen bolt B e Remove the neutral handle C Loosen the nuts E from the three bolts D using two open ended spanners with a width of 13 mm Firmly hold the drive unit F support if necessary and carefully remove the three bolts with the washers with which the drive unit is mounted to the side frame e Remove the drive unit Mount the new drive unit in the reverse order e After install

63. wheelchair so that the wheel is off the ground e Pull out the valve to completely deflate the tyre e Loosen the wheel bolt using an open ended spanner with a width of 13 mm and stop the bolt with the same open ended spanner olide the wheel out of the fork Watch the washers that come free collect them so they will not be lost e Loosen the wheel bolts using an Allen key with a width of 5 mm Separate the rim halves This will release both tyres allowing the valve to be slid out of the rim half e Remove the inner tube from the tyre e Repair the inner tube or replace it Refit the tyre with repaired or new inner tube as follows e Place the repaired or new inner tube in the tyre e Stick the valve through the opening in the rim half e Slide the other rim half over the hub of the wheel e Screw both rim halves together with the Allen bolts The inner tube must not be jammed between the two rim halves e Tighten the wheel bolts e Pump the tyre up e Replace the wheel in the fork in the reverse order of disassembly 3 4 2 Replacing the tyre on the swivel wheel Replace the tyre as follows e Support the wheelchair so that the wheel is off the ground e Pull out the valve to completely deflate the tyre e Loosen the wheel bolt using an open ended spanner with a width of 13 mm and stop the bolt with the same open ended spanner Slide the wheel out of the fork Watch the washers that come free collect them so they will not be
