INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS UNDERDRIVE PULLEY SET 400336 Materials supplied 1 Crank Pulley 2 Idler pulley l 3 Alternator pulley Tools Materials required 1 Assorted wrenches sockets Pulley puller WARN N G Factory repair manual New belts Gates K060445 amp K040350 2 3 Pry Bar IF YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED IN THIS TYPE OF 4 Impact gun AUTOMOTIVE MECHANICS WE STRONGLY URGE THAT a tell YOU REFER THIS INSTALLATION TO YOUR MECHANIC T 8 Notes Please refer to the factory service manual for additional information on removal of additional items Underdrive crank pulleys are not recommended for use with the STILLEN supercharger If you have a STILLEN supercharger please contact your sales rep about a lightweight standard diameter crank pulley Remove the air box assembly and disconnect the battery Raise the front of the vehicle and support with jack stands Remove the lower engine cover Loosen but do not remove the 4 nuts on the large idler pulley Remove belts Dismount the alternator removing the oil filter will create additional room remove the nut on the pulley with impact gun and remove the pulley Apply a light coat Aaa of anti seize to the inner diameter of the new pulley and install onto the alternator Reinstall the nut Remount the alternator Remove the idler pulley and replace with the new one Snug down the nuts Ie ey gt ND Remove the crankshaft pulley as follows 1 Rem2. ley 6 Reinstall the air box and reconnect the battery 7 DONE New belts will need to be retightened after a couple of hundred miles Page 2 of 2
