12. 2300 requires a few simple A precautions during cleaning as well as minimum maintenance Cleaning e Disconnect the device form the 230 V mains e Never clean the device with a high pressure cleaner or a water spray e Usea damp cloth or sponge to clean the outer parts the screen and the programming keypad e Never use abrasive scouring pads which would damage the screen and make your weighing labelling unit unusable e lf you need to clean your device more thoroughly do not use aggressive products Excellent cleaning products are available in the shops which will make your machine look as good as new Cleaning the mechanical parts of the printer in contact with the paper To ensure constant printing quality parts in contact with the label roll must be cleaned regularly Depending on the paper quality used glue deposits may build up on the pins and the print head Paper particles torn off by the paper rubbing on the printer guide parts may also build up on these parts This is to be expected and will not affect printer operation if light maintenance is carried out on a regular basis e Remove the paper particles with a dry brush e Unlock the tilting unit to access the thermal head e Clean the axles in contact with the paper and the printer head using a soft cloth with isoproplyl alcohol e Never use ordinary household cleaning products e Never use hard or metallic tools knives screwdrivers etc to clean the print head e
