Maintenance 3 2 1 Tire repair back wheel 12 When repairing the inner tube of a back wheel the wheel should be braked so that it does not rotate at the same time Repairing a leaking tire should be done as follows e Support the wheelchair so that the wheel is elevated e Let the tire run empty completely by pulling out the valve e Using tire levers pull the front of the tire across the edge of the rim e Carefully pull the inner tube across the edge of the rim e Push the valve from the opening in the rim e Pull the inner tube from the tire for repair or replacement e Repair the inner tube or replace it Now the repaired or new inner tube should be placed as follows e Put the valve of the inner tube through the opening in the rim Press the inner tube into the tire Place the tire around the rim Use tire levers to place the tire around the rim be careful not to damage the inner tube with the tire levers The inner tube must not become jammed between the rim and the tire e Pump up the inner tube see technical data e Remove the support from the wheelchair The wheelchair is ready to drive again SADKIB 010705010 nl doc 3 2 2 Replacing tire of back wheel 12 When replacing a tire of a back wheel the wheel should be braked so that it does not rotate at the same time The tire should be replaced as follows e Support the wheelchair so that the wheel is elevated Let the tire run empty completely by p
