11. when the games are over or when the scoreboard is use e Turn OFF scoreboard s main disconnect switch e To prevent possible damage to the control from lightning strikes or power surges o Turn OFF control power o Unplug the control s power cable from the wall outlet o Unplug the control s data cable from the hookup box o Store the control in a safe place to prevent possible theft or vandalism e Refer to Scoreboard Care below for additional information SCOREBOARD CARE Your Fair Play scoreboard when installed as directed by the installation instructions is designed and constructed to withstand normal environmental conditions Because of its seasonal usage particularly for outdoor football and baseball scoreboards long life with minimum service can be expected by caring for the scoreboard during off season CAUTION e Disconnect power before servicing e Follow safety precautions OFF SEASON e Turn power OFF e Portable scoreboards be disconnected and removed from their supports and stored in an indoor location e The control must be unplugged placed in their carrying case and stored in dry location of moderate temperatures PRE SEASON e As a precautionary measure the scoreboard should be inspected reassembled and tested 6 to 8 weeks in advance of the game season e ensure that the LEDs are operating at optimum brightness remove any accumulated dirt and debris from the scoreboard b
