69. o Ladu Rally d Italia Sardegna 2007 USEeC FIN WORLDS RALLI CHAMPIONSHIP 1 INTRODUCTION WELCOME The Rally d Italia Sardegna is a demanding and not easy com petition sited in an environmental context of great relief The inland and the north east coast of Sardinia charming and wel coming land is hard and wild enough to ensure to all compe titors a great rally with an ancient flavour though modernized thanks to a significant offer for what concerns logistics and hotel accommodation In the last three years the Rally d Italia Sardegna has acquired a well defined technical and sporting peculiarity the Italian Leg of the World Rally Championship has proved to be a contest where the best drivers stand out as shown by the final classifi cation of 2004 2005 and 2006 editions in total respect of the most genuine Italian rally tradition Automobil Club dTtalia Organizer of this event has managed the competition refining the courses thanks to the experience of the past editions the first leg in the south of Sardinia Nuoro County the second leg in the inland of Gallura Region and the north Pro vince of Olbia Tempio for the final leg the tests around Tempio Pausania and the important regrouping in Arzachena The city of Olbia hosts the Service Park 120 square meters lo cated in the area of the industrial wharf Cocciani Harbour and the Rally Head Quarter c o the Melia Olbia Resort and Conven tion Center whil
