8. e fired at any time 4 Always ensure you have a clear view of your target and what is beyond it 5 Use only the correct ammunition for your firearm Using improper or incorrect ammunition can destroy a gun and cause serious personal injury 6 Check that the barrel is clear of obstructions before firing Even a slight amount of snow mud or lubricating oil or grease can cause dangerously increased pressures 7 If your gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled handle it with care Unload the misfired cartridge keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and dispose of the cartridge in a safe manner 8 Be sure to wear eye and ear protection 9 Do not interfere with the trigger safety or other parts of your firearm and have the firearm periodicallv serviced by a qualified professional Assembly 1 Clean dirt and excess oil from gun especially in the breech area and barrel interior and ends 2 Make sure there are no cartridges in the chamber remove the forend by pulling on the forend release catch or by pushing the forend release button in the forend will separate from the barrel by allowing the nose of the forend to drop and moving it forward and away from the barrels photo 1 Attach barrels to action by grasping the grip of the stock with right hand and placing the stock under right arm With your right thumb move the top lever to the right Now hold the barrels with your free hand and slid

13. r ndolo de los ca ones foto 1 3 Acople los ca ones a mecanismo tomando la empu adura de la culata con la mano derecha y colocando la culata bajo el brazo derecho Con el pulgar derecho mueva la palanca de cierre hacia la derecha Sujete ahora los ca ones con la mano libre e inserte el tet n de ca ones en la ranura del mecanismo con la culata de los ca ones apuntando hacia abajo hasta que el pasador del tet n encaje con la ranura de enganche foto 2 4 Manteniendo la ranura del tet n de enganche ocupada por el pasador del tet n levante la culata de los ca ones hasta que los ca ones se cierren Cuidado si cuando trate usted de cerrar la escopeta los ca ones se tuercen o parece que photo 2 no encajan bien ser se al de que no est n bien acoplados el tet n de enganche y la ranura NO INTENTE CERRAR EL ARMA A LA FUERZA pruebe de nuevo Suelte la palanca de cierre y los ca ones quedar n encajados en su sitio 5 Vuelva a colocar el guardamano de la escopeta deslizando la parte trasera del guardamano hacia dentro del ca n con el mismo ngulo con el que lo retir la parte trasera redondeada del guardamano ha de coincidir exactamente con el frente redondeado del receptor y cuando lo haga levante el extremo delantero del guardamano hasta que encaje con los ca ones y emita un clic audible y si el perno de cierre del guardamano sobresale despu s de este clic emp jelo

18. un be sure of the target background and the location of persons who have accompanied you or may be occupying areas in your vicinity Pick your target release the safety by sliding it forward with your thumb and squeeze the trigger with your forefinger 4 Push the top lever to right open the gun Fired shells will be ejected and unfired shells will be elevated above chamber on models with automatic selective ejectors Disassembly 1 Make sure chambers are empty Close the gun Place the gun butt on your thigh and remove forend by pulling the forend release latch or pressing the forend release button While pulling the nose of the forend away from the barrels slide forend forward until separated from the barrels 2 Separate the barrels from the receiver by holding the stock of the gun in your right hand and the barrels in yout left Push the top lever to the right with your thumb Allow the nose of the barrels to drop and lift the barrels upward out of the receiver 3 The gun can now be cleaned and the forend should be reattached to the barrel for storage Lock plate removal and maintenance Should your AYA sidelock have a hand detachable lever on the left lockplate follow these directions for lock removal 1 Make certain gun is unloaded 2 Open and re close gun to make sure that it is cocked 3 Turn hand detaching lever on left lock counterclockwise until it is free of right lock then gently push on it until
