3. al tiempo que el no regular retrocede En cambio en lo referente a distribu ci n por destinos el tr fico dom stico ha aumentado ligeramente m s que el internacional aunque todav a sigue siendo mayoritario este ltimo con un 59 frente al 41 Respecto a la distribuci n de tr fico en regular y no regular en este a o se ha reforzado el cre cimiento del tr fico regular que alcanza el 77 del total y porcen tajes de crecimiento superiores El reparto de tr fico entre los distintos aeropuertos de la red se man tiene en los mismos valores que a os anteriores e Los seis aeropuertos de mayor tr fico suponen el 70 del tr fico comercial en Espa a destacando los de Madrid con 36 millones de pasajeros Barcelona 23 millones y Palma de Mallorca con 19 e Los 10 aeropuertos con m s de 1 mill n de pasajeros concentran el 27 del tr fico e Los otros 28 aeropuertos representan el 7 restante Operaciones El n mero de operaciones totales durante el a o 2003 fue de 1 97 millones lo que supone un 4 de incremento respecto a los valo res de 2002 Las operaciones comerciales sin incluir aviaci n gene ral ni otras clases de tr fico ascendieron a 1 6 millones con un incremento del 6 El crecimiento experimentado por los aero puertos de Aena es superior en dos puntos y medio al experimen tado por la Regi n Europea de ACI y de cinco respecto al total de las regiones ACI Los tres aeropuertos que superaron las 100

Aena el pasado mes de septiembre en Edimburgo hizo que cobrasen especial relevancia todo los asuntos relativos al desarrollo de rutas en los aeropuertos que conforman la red Routes es un foro anual que re ne a compa as a reas y aero puertos para debatir sobre desarrollo de rutas y oportunidades comunes de negocio en este mbito En la pasada edici n la Direcci n de Aeropuertos Espa oles mantuvo 62 reuniones con compa as a reas para animarlas a iniciar operaciones en los aero puertos espa oles Las jornadas de Edimburgo fueron el marco para la presentaci n de Aena como el nuevo anfitri n del evento en el a o 2004 El Presidente Director General Jos Eladio Seco recogi el testigo de Routes y agradeci el reto que supondr la celebraci n de un foro nico en el mundo que permitir mostrar a las compa as a reas y touroperadores internacionales las excelencias de la red aeroportua ria de Aena Relaciones Internacionales tambi n particip en la Feria World Travel Market de Londres en el mes de noviembre donde continu con las entrevistas a compa as a reas interesadas en operar en los aero puertos de Aena La creaci n de un programa exclusivo de Desarrollo de Rutas ha supuesto el comienzo de una serie de acciones directamente enca minadas a ese fin entre las que se incluyen el an lisis del producto aeropuerto para poder conocer sus posibilidades y potencial la cre aci n de unos canales de comu

Norte Bilbao San Sebasti n y Gran Canaria y el asesoramiento en la realizaci n de los simulacros de evacuaci n de edificios terminales realizados en los Aeropuertos de Logro o y Almer a Durante el a o 2003 se desarroll un nuevo modelo param trico para realizar c lculos de capacidad en las zonas de facturaci n y embarque con la aplicaci n inform tica Witness y se desarroll una herramienta para la estimaci n de la capacidad y el dimensiona miento de edificios terminales realizando estudios de capacidad de Edificio Terminal en los Aeropuertos de Lanzarote Logro o Albacete Girona Costa Brava La Gomera Le n y San Sebasti n En el mismo ejercicio tambi n se particip en los dise os funcio nales de los Aeropuertos de Vigo Gran Canaria Badajoz y El Hierro y en la revisi n del proyecto del Nuevo rea Terminal NAT del Aeropuerto de Alicante Asimismo se procedi a revisar la situaci n de los Puestos de Inspecci n Fronteriza en los Aeropuertos de Aena identificando sus necesidades y se redactaron las directrices para el uso equi librado de los segundos idiomas oficiales en los Aeropuertos Espa oles Adem s se realiz el seguimiento de la implantaci n de las medidas cautelares respecto a las importaciones de pro ductos de origen animal destinados al consumo humano Decisi n 2002 995 CE Por ltimo se elaboraron estudios sobre el Desarrollo de la Aviaci n Civil por Helic ptero en Espa a y acerca

11. requiera Un hecho relevante en la organizaci n es la obtenci n alcanzada por el Aeropuerto de Tenerife Sur de la certificaci n medioam biental conforme al reglamento europeo EMAS ll que supone un paso m s all en el reconocimiento de las buenas pr cticas medioambientales de este centro Tuvieron lugar las Jornadas de Gesti n Medioambiental de Aeropuertos donde los responsables de los sistemas de gesti n medioambiental y los coordinadores medioambientales de los aero puertos intercambiaron experiencias pretendiendo la adopci n de pr cticas positivas en relaci n con la mejora medioambiental Se convocaron las VIl Jornadas de responsables del Servicio de Control de Fauna SCF celebrada en Tenerife Sur que consolida esta pr ctica de coordinaci n y de comunicaci n entre los aero puertos de la red El estudio sobre la poblaci n de aves en los aero puertos de Aena se desarrolla en cuatro zonas geogr ficas espa olas el norte y el este desde el a o pasado y el sur y el centro desde este a o que comprender n una campa a de observaci n de las aves en cada aeropuerto por un per odo de dos a os que se completar con una quinta regi n la canaria a iniciar pr xima mente para contar con la informaci n pertinente en toda la red Estudios y An lisis Estad sticos Durante este ejercicio se elaboraron los estudios de movilidad del modo a reo EMMA correspondientes a encuestas del a o 2002 de los aeropuert
