Preload If is adjusted setting less or more distance between cap and stanchion sitting without load before starting to screw the cap It is shown in figures 58 a and 58 b for Clubman without caps it is 58 a 1 and 58 b 1 Reccomended preload a Rider weight gear included lower than 80 Kgs 10 15 mm b More than 80 Kgs 20 25 mm Point of shange of stiffness If is adjusted fitting spacer between springs in one of both possible positions as it is shown in photos 53 a and 53 b There are three opssible options a Longer soft travel as photo 53 a in both legs b Shorter soft travel as photo 53 b in both legs c Intermediate soft travel one way in each leg Pag 8 11 ACEITE DE HORQUILLA Cuando est seleccionada la configuraci n de HFS Clubman puede jugarse con el cambio de viscosidad del aceite de horquilla por ejemplo para obtener una respuesta m s lenta en extensi n puede aumentarse el grado de viscosidad y probar En utilizaci n en competici n pueden efectuarse pruebas subiendo 5 o 10 grados SAE SAE 10W o 15W si se parte de SAE5W Con el sistema HFSO no es habitual reducir la viscosidad respecto de la recomendada en origen por el fabricante IM GENES Y SEGURIDAD e Al final del manual hay figures indicando el proceso de instalaci n oe basan en un modelo de Montesa realice ajustes en el proceso en base a las caracter sticas de otras marcas e Utilice herramientas y tiles seguros para evitar accidentes2. 20 mm o m s comportamiento m s firme Foto 58 a En el caso de Clubman sin tapones es la foto 58 a 1 Entre 10 y 20 mm_ comportamiento m s suave Foto 58 b En el caso de Clubman sin tapones es la foto 58 b 1 3 5 5 La forma de comprobar la precarga es situ ndolo dentro de la barra y midiendo con un metro o con un calibre Fotos 58 a y 58 b 3 5 6 Cuando est ajustado apretar la tuerca fij ndolo en el torno igual que se ha indicado antes en el tornillo de banco 3 5 7 Cuando est apretada la tuerca montar y apretar el tap n en la barra izquierda Par recomendado 20 Nm 4 REPETIR EL PROCESO EN LA BARRA DERECHA 9 Montar el manillar Foto 4 6 Volver a apoyar la rueda sobre el suelo AJUSTES DE COMPORTAMIENTO Hay dos ajustes posibles precarga y punto donde empieza el cambio de dureza de la suspensi n 1 2 Precarga Se ajusta teniendo m s o menos distancia entre el tap n y la barra descargado antes de empezar a roscar los tapones Se muestra en las figuras 58 a y 58 b para el modelo Clubman sin tapones son las figuras 58 a 1 y 58 b 1 Precarga recomendada a Peso total por debajo de 80 Kgs incluido equipo 10 15 mm b A partir de 80 Kgs 20 25 mm Punto donde empieza el cambio de dureza de la suspensi n Se ajusta montando el distanciador entre muelles en una u otra posici n como muestran las figuras 53 a y 53 b Pueden tenerse tres opciones a Mayor recorrido suave figura 53 a en ambas b
