11. see section 5 1 OSD Editing the on screen information Advanced Address management of the CDC module configuration of the GSM modem and changing the password To present information in an RF channel the headend controlling device has an OSD subsystem and a modulator which can show up to 8 data screens in a selectable channel When it is not connected to the program the control module carries out periodic scans to check that the devices and working correctly and to detect any changes in the headend status detection of new elements devices with errors changes in the configu ration This data is shown on the first four OSD screens The other four screens are available and are the only ones which can be edited by the user They are designed to show information that the various owners of the flats of the building want to share as well as to show any information from the insta ller or even for adverts etc To access this submenu select one of the four pages that can be edited and that are available and select the option Edit scre en Once the screen has been edited the u Control de cabecera Ref 5052 3 gt Management 2 Configuration Screen 61 ser should select Send screen for it to be loaded onto the CDC To make the OSD screens appear in the RF channel generated by the CDC it is neces sary to activate Show information screens in Management The changes carried out on the OSD

18. rack 19 E e a Q o ul Figura 2 7 Telev s Manual de instrucciones Control de Cabecera CDC 4 EL SISTEMA CDC 4 1 Objetivos Los objetivos del sistema de control de cabeceras son Permitir la configuraci n y monitorizaci n de todos los dispositivos controlables de una cabecera desde un nico punto mediante una aplicaci n para Windows Presentar informaci n en un canal de RF Para ello incorpora un subsistema OSD On Screen Display y un modulador que permite mostrar hasta 8 pantallas de datos en un canal seleccionable El sistema CDC puede llevar a cabo entre otras las siguientes operaciones Cambio en la configuraci n de los elemen tos de la cabecera evitando el hecho de desplazarse obligatoriamente a la cabece ra para efectuar esta operaci n Sondeo r pido de toda la instalaci n bus cando elementos defectuosos en la misma Volcado de una determinada configuraci n en una cabecera de modo r pido evitando el hecho de tener que configurar los ele mentos uno a uno En el caso de QPSR PAL o COFDM PAL es necesario escoger el servicio deseado ver apdo 6 4 1 4 2 Elementos y conexiones El sistema CDC est constituido alrededor del dispositivo controlador que es el encar gado de realizar la funci n de interfaz entre el usuario y los elementos de la cabecera de instalaci n El controlador recibe comandos en modo loc
