12. the fact that there are some people who can t follow your technique By no means do I feel I am wasting time giving a workshop It is very flattering a challenge 80 IN PALMA you take up with yourself and a pleasure for those who take advantage of it And how do you feel about the fact that the vast majority of your pupils see you as a god and have turned you into a le gend There may be some people who like your work more intensely but giving a cour se is like standing up before a jury it s a trial where you have to convince all of them If you don t give anything you won t convince anyone so it s great to give courses because every time I give myself too It s a measure of humility of giving the best of yourself When people tell you that they have learned from looking at your photos how should I feel I think of the star of my eyes Alberto Garci sAlix Let s go back to the very beginning where did your love of photography come from The motorbikes were to blame Garc a Alix is a devout enthusiast of motorbikes and mo torcycle racing At the age of 12 you have to throw your heart into speed it s a fact of life and at that age I started liking motorbikes my brother raced and so did I sometimes but he was guicker Anyway a friend of my brother s used to take photos and he went with my brother as long as I did the job of te chnician for him he was called German del Caso a truly sensitive photographer a
