Disassembly Continued Step 5 Reassembly Step 6 Reassembly The inside of the valve body must be wiped clean and free from scratches or burrs prior to reassembly Lubricate the new valve O Ring and U Cup Place the U Cup seal inside the valve body The U of the seal must be facing down against the valve body shoulder Care must be taken to insure that the seal lips are not chaffed by the threads on the body upon insertion Install the O Ring onto the valve body Place new spring on top of the valve Step 7 Lubricate and replace the O Ring on the center post assembly adapter end with the new O Ring provided in the kit Insert center post adapter into the valve body and wrench tight Do not use a collapsible wrench on the center shaft Step 5 Remove the purge valve and springs from the valve body located in the lower portion of the housing Inserting a screwdriver into the purge hole at the bottom center of the housing and pushing upward will help free the valve so that it can be grasped Also remove the U Cup seal from the valve body Caution The valve body housing is aluminum Care must be taken not to cross thread the post assembly into the valve body Do not bend the center shaft by applying excessive side load Step 8 Lubricate and replace the canister O Ring and install the canister into the housing Also replace the O Rings on the purge plate assembly and stack it and the desiccant spring on top of the

4. abajo con tra el hombro del cuerpo de la valvula Cuando vaya a colocarlo tenga cuida do de que los bordes no se doblen al rozar la rosca del cuerpo Coloque la junta torica en el cuerpo de la valvula y a continuaci n coloque un nuevo resorte sobre la parte superior de la v lvula Paso 7 Engrase y coloque la junta t ri ca nueva que se suministra con el juego al montar la columna central del extremo del adaptador Introduzca el adaptador de la columna central dentro del cuerpo de la v lvula y apri telo del modo correcto No utilice una llave de compresi n al apretar el eje central Paso 5 Retire la v lvula de purga y los resortes del cuerpo de la v lvula que se encuentran en la parte inferi or de la carcasa Introduzca un destornillador dentro del agujero de purga que se encuentra en la parte central del fondo de la carcasa y empuje hacia arriba para liberar la v lvula y poder agarrarla Adem s deber retirar el sello de la copa en U del cuerpo de la v lvula Precauci n La carcasa del cuerpo de la v lvula es de aluminio Tenga cuida do al roscarlo en el cuerpo de la v lvu la As mismo no aplique una fuerza excesiva al apretar el eje central para no doblarlo Paso 8 Engrase y coloque la junta t ri ca de la caja y coloque la caja en el interior de la carcasa As mismo deber volver a colocar las juntas t ric as sobre el ensamblaje de la placa de purga hasta formar una pila y el resorte del de

9. uts with an adjustable wrench Next pull the cap off with a twisting upward motion Step 2 Using an adjustable wrench on the flats unscrew the center shaft by turning it counterclockwise This shaft has a heavy spring load and will release as the shaft is unthreaded Remove the shaft from the purge plate and lift the purge plate and desiccant spring off the filter cartridge Step 3 Remove the desiccant canister from the Aerofiner II housing It may be necessary to loosen the canister from the housing by prying upward with a srewdriver inserted in the canister outer slot prying groove Then remove the center post being careful not to apply a sideload which may bend the shaft Note During reassembly rotate the canister while inserting and be sure that the canister O Ring lubricate prior to assembly seats below the housing shoulder Step 4 Turn the center post counter clockwise using a wrench Do not use a collapsible wrench such as a pipe wrench or damage to the internal thread port will occur Loosen the post several turns until it rotates freely by hand Continuacion del proceso de desmontaje Paso 5 Montaje Paso 6 Montaje Antes de volver a montar la valvula debera limpiar su interior hasta que no queden restos de suciedad Engrase la junta torica nueva de la valvula y la copa en U Coloque el sello de la copa en U dentro del cuerpo de la valvula La forma en U del sello debe quedar mirando hacia
