1. EF Products L P 417 R 134a Manifold Gauge Hose Set INSTRUCTIONS TO ASSEMBLE GAUGE HOSE SET AND QUICK COUPLE CONNECTORS 1 Attach Red Hose to the right side fitting on the gauge 2 Attach Blue Hose to the left side fitting on the gauge 3 Attach Yellow Hose to the center fitting on the gauge 4 Attach Blue Quick Couple Connector to the end of the blue hose 5 Attach Red Quick Couple Connector to the end of the red hose 6 Make sure that both the gauge valves and the shut off valves on the connectors are all in the closed position To close shut off valves turn clockwise until it is perpendicular to the hose 7 Connect the R 134a cylinder to the yellow charging hose TO CHECK OPERATING PRESSURE 1 Connect the Red Quick Couple Connector to the High Side Service Port of the auto air conditioner 2 Connect the Blue Quick Couple Connector to the Low Side Service Port of the auto air conditioner 3 Start engine Turn air conditioner to maximum cool 4 Open connector shut off valves on both the high side and low side 5 Observe pressure readings Check service manual for proper operating pressures TO ADD 134a REFRIGERANT AFTER CHECKING OPERATING PRESSURE 1 Open both the Blue Low Side Valve on the gauge and the Blue Quick Couple Connector shut off valve 2 Add 134a refrigerant through the yellow hose by opening the dispensing valve on the cylinder or can TO EVACUATE WITH AUXILIARY VACUUM PUMP 1 Connect the R2. motor Coloque el aire acondicionado en la posici n de m ximo enfriamiento 4 Abra la v lvula de cierre del conector tanto en el lado alto como el lado bajo 5 Observe las lecturas de presi n Revise el manual de servicio para obtener las presiones apropiadas de funcionamiento PARA AGREGAR EL REFRIGERANTE 134a DESPU S DE REVISAR LA PRESI N FUNCIONAL 1 Abra tanto la V lvula Azul del Lado Bajo en el man metro y la v lvula de cierre Azul del Conector de Acoplamiento R pido 2 Agregue el refrigerante 134a mediante la manguera amarilla al abrir la v lvula dispensadora en el cilindro O lata PARA EVACUAR CON LA BOMBA ASPIRADORA AUXILIAR 1 Conecte el Conector Rojo de Acoplamiento R pido al Puerto de Servicio de Lado Alto del aire acondicionado 2 Conecte el Conector Azul de Acoplamiento R pido al Puerto de Servicio de Lado Bajo del aire acondicionado 3 Desconecte el cilindro de R 134a de la manguera amarilla de recargar y conecte una bomba aspiradora auxiliar 4 Abra las v lvulas de ambos man metros y ambas v lvulas de cierre de conector 5 Arranque la bomba aspiradora 6 Despu s de evacuar el sistema conforme las especificaciones del fabricante cierre ambas v lvulas en el man metro y ambas v lvulas en el conector y apague la bomba aspiradora 7 Desconecte la bomba aspiradora de la manguera amarilla de recargar y conecte el cilindro de R 134a ADVERTENCIA SIEMPRE DEJE TODAS LAS V LVULAS EN LA POSICI N DE C
