Instruction Sheet Vent System Termination GSW The plastic screens supplied with this instruction sheet are designed for use as the vent termination Rodent Screen After determining the total equivalent feet of vent pipe for your installation based on Table VI page 4 of the Installation and Operating Instructions you must use the appropriate Rodent Screen to obtain the best possible efficiency Only install one of the two options listed below Refer to table below x VENT LENGTH You must install the Rodent Screen in the termination LESS ig VENT LENGTH elbow to prevent foreign objects from entering the GREATER THAN k EQUAL TO venting system Refer to figure 3 1 page 4 and figure 6 page 6 of your 20 EQUIVALENT 20 C installation manual regarding information for the vent FEET K termination USE THIS SCREEN USE THIS SCREEN OUTSIDE OF M INSIDE OF ee DWELLING SELECT PROPER SCREEN AS DESCRIBED ABOVE TERMINATION ELBOW WITH SCREEN INSTALLED SECURE SCREEN WITH SILICONE CAULK AS REQUIRED IMPORTANT INFORMATION The Rodent Screen refer to options above should be installed in the termination elbow as shown Apply only enough silicone caulk to hold the screen in place inside the termination elbow This will allow for annual screen removal inspection and cleaning of the vent pipe system of any lint or debris Refer to the Venting section in the Installation and Operating Instructi
