7. g into your vacuum cleaner and vacuum out the glass media from the appliance Remove the 12 screws securing the media tray in place and then lift the media tray up and out of the appliance Remove the 4 screws securing the burner as shown below then slide it sideways and then lift the burner up and out of the appliance E the valve train in place as shown below Carefully lift the valve train N out turning the manual shut off valve to the OFF position see the VALVE TRAIN REPLACEMENT and GAS INSTALLATION NOTE A new gasket may be required when reinstalling the valve train assembly Cut the perforated section from the valve access gasket and replace it with the supplied gasket Contact your local authorized dealer distributor The valve train doesn t need to be removed from the appliance completely Only pull it out as far as needed to access the valve regulator and wire harness 4 To convert the fixed valve to a modulating valve follow the instructions that are supplied with the SIT regulator assembly E 5 Disconnect the transformer from the wire harness and the green and white wires from the wall switch These wires will be connected to the new wire harness as shown in the wiring diagram attached 6 Turn on the gas supply and check for gas leaks by brushing on a soap LJ and water solution Do not use open flame 7 Re install the valve train burner and media tray Then light the pilot
