3. par la hauteur du fond B et de l ventuelle variation d sir e max 5 cm Le fond doit tre fix avant le corps de la hotte et si on d sire le fixer au mur il faut le fixer en sa partie inf rieure Vu la complexit de cette op ration il convient de la faire effectuer par l installateur de la cuisine ou par du personnel qui connaisse toutes les dimensions finales des meubles Pour ins rer le corps de la hotte dans le fond proc der comme suit a Appuyer le fond sur le plan des bases comme dans la fig 2 le mettre en contact avec le mur et le centrer par rapport la base b Marquer les centres des deux trous du bord inf rieur sur le mur pour une installation sans plan de cuisson C Faire les trous dans le mur avec une m che 8 et fixer le fond en utilisant les chevilles Y 8 et les vis fournies 4 2 Montage du corps de la hotte fig 3 a Accrocher le corps de la hotte C aux anneaux inf rieurs T et en m me temps ins rer le corps de la hotte C dans le fond b Enlever les filtres m talliques anti graisse voir paragraphe 3 3 1 partie 2 c R gler verticalement et mettre la hotte niveau horizontalement en tournant les vis V1 d Tourner les vis V2 jusqu ce que la hotte soit fix e au mur 4 3 Raccordement lectrique et contr le fonctionnel ll est n cessaire de respecter scrupuleusement les conseils 3 2 3 3 3 4 du paragraphe 3 concernant la s curit 2 Leraccordement lectrique effectu
4. de service Touche Vitesse intensive avec extinction programm e Appropri e pour faire face aux missions maximum de vapeurs de cuisson s teint automatiquement apr s 10 minutes de son entr e en fonction Elle peut tre d branch e en appuyant sur la touche g T l commande optionnel fig 11 I est important d utiliser pour la t l commande des piles alcaline zinc carbon de 1 5 V au format standard LRO3 AAA Ces piles garantissent une longue dur e et une courbe de d chargement constante au cours de la dur e de vie en assurant la constance des performances de la t l commande jusqu l puisement total Ne pas garder la t l com mande proximit de sources de chaleur Ne pas disperser les piles dans la nature mais les jeter dans les conteneurs pr vus cet effet 2eme Partie INSTRUCTIONS POUR L UTILISATION ET LENTRETIEN 3 ENTRETIEN NY Un entretien constant de votre hotte est la garantie d un bon fonctionnement et d un bon rendement au cours du temps II faut avoir des attentions particuli res pour le filtre graisses m tallique et uniquement pour les hottes filtrantes aux filtres charbon actif 3 1 Filtres graisses m talliques Nettoyage Lavez ces filtres avec un produit d tergent du commerce au maximum tous les deux mois Gr ce leur dimension compacte vous pouvez galement les laver dans votre lave vaisselle D montage des filtres Enlevez un filtre la fois en l

9. d filtrant R fig 9 2 me Partie INSTRUCTIONS POUR L UTILISATION ET L ENTRETIEN 1 INSTRUCTIONS POUR LA SECURITE Il est absolument n cessaire de respecter tous les avertissements du paragraphe 3 de la premi re partie Instructions pour l installation En outre il est tr s important de faire particuli rement attention lors de l utilisation et de l entretien aux avertissements suivants 1 1 Effectuer un scrupuleux et r gulier entretien des filtres graisses et charbon actif selon les intervalles conseill s par le fabricant ou plus souvent pour une utilisation particuli rement intense plus de 4 heures par jour 1 2 Ne laissez jamais de flammes libres fonctionnant forte intensit sous la hotte en retirant les marmites teignez la flamme ou du moins pour de courtes p riodes et sous surveillance tenez la au minimum 1 3 R glez toujours la flamme de fa on viter une fuite lat rale vidente de celle ci par rapport au fond des marmites vous conomisez de l nergie et vous vitez de dangereuses concentrations de chaleur 1 4 N utilisez jamais incorrectement votre appareil qui est destin uniquement a abattre les odeurs dans la cuisine 2 UTILISATION Tableau des commandes fig 10 Le sch ma des commandes est le suivant Touche Allume et teint le circuit d clairage Touche Allume et teint le moteur Touche Diminue la vitesse de service Touche Augmente la vitesse
10. e soutenant avec une main et en agissant sur le verrou fig 12 ATTENTION Afin d viter des risques d incendie provoqu s par la saturation des filtres cause de la graisse il est n cessaire de respecter les temps pour leur entretien et leur remplacement 3 2 Filtre au charbon actif Fonctionnement Les filtres au charbon actif ont la capacit de retenir les odeurs jusqu a la saturation lls ne sont pas lavables et ne peuvent tre r g n r s et par cons quent ils doivent tre remplac s au moins tous les 4 mois ou plus fr quemment en cas d usage particuli rement intense Remplacement Enlever les filtres anti graisse m talliques ou la grille d aspiration enlever les filtres au charbon actif plac s aux extr mit s du diffuseur en les tournant dans le sens des fl ches A Remonter les nouveaux filtres en les tournant dans le sens des fl ches B fig 13 3 3 Eclairage ll est constitu de 3 spots halog nes 20 W Remplacement fig 14 Enlever les deux vis qui fixent la douille m tallique extraire le spot de la douille en tirant l g rement Pour le remonter il faut faire attention que les deux fiches soient correctement introduites dans la douille porte ampoule 3 4 Nettoyage Pour le nettoyage normal de la hotte N utiliser ni chiffons ni ponges mouill s ni jets d eau Ne pas utiliser de diluants ou d alcools car ceux ci pourraient rendre mates les surfaces vernies Ne pas utiliser de
11. ed Since this operation is complex it must be performed only by the kitchen installer or by competent persons who know all the final measurements of the kitchen units The hood unit is inserted in the backing as follows a Place the backing on the base surface as in fig 2 move it into contact with the wall and centre it with respect to the base b On the wall mark the centres of the two holes of the lower flap for installation without cooking surface c Using a 8 mm drill bit drill the holes and fix the backing using the Y 8 rawl plugs and screws provided 4 2 Mounting the hood unit fig 3 a Hook the hood unit C to the lower rings T and at the same time insert the hood unit C in the backing b Remove the metal grease filters see paragraph 3 3 1 part 2 c Adjust the hood vertically and level it horizontally by turning the screws V1 d Turn the screws V2 until the hood is firm against the wall 4 3 Electrical connection and working test 1 The safety measures 3 2 3 3 and 3 4 of paragrapf 3 are to be strictly observed 2 Once the electrical connection has been completed check that worktop illumination motor and speed work properly 4 4 Ducting or Recirculation fitting 1 Ducting fitting a The cooker hood can be ducted to the outside using either rigid or flexible fire retardant ducting of 120 or 150 mm The choice is left to the installer When 120 mm ducting is to be used it will be necessary to install

15. ing constant performance of the remote control until the batteries are completely discharged Do not place the remote control near sources of heat Do not discard the batteries carelessly dispose of them in appropriate receptacles 3 MAINTENANCE Regular maintenance and cleaning will ensure good performance and reliability while extending the working life of the hood Special attention should be paid to the grease filters and to the charcoal filters when the hood is used in the recirculation mode Part 2 USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS 3 1 Metal grease filters Cleaning The metal grease filter should be cleaned every two months with normal usage and can be cleaned in a dishwasher or by hand using a mild detergent or liquid soap Replacement Remove the filters one at a time pushing the handle towards the rear of the hood fig 12 When replacing ensure that the handle faces outwards ATTENTION THERE COULD BE A POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD IF THE FILTERS ARE NOT REPLACED ACCORDING TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS 3 2 Active carbon filter Operation Active carbon filters can withhold odours up to saturation They cannot be washed or regenerated and must therefore be replaced every 4 months or more frequently if intensely used Replacement Remove the metal grease filters or the exhaust grill remove the active carbon filters at the ends of the diffuser by turning them in the direction of the A arrows Install the new filters by turning
16. pans unattended during use as overheated fats and oils may catch fire 3 8 Before carring out any kind of maintenance or cleaning disconnect the hood from the mains supply 3 9 If the room where the cooker hood is to be used contains a fuel burning appliance such as a central heating boiler then this must be of the room sealed or balanced flue type If other types of flue or appliance are fitted ensure that there is an adequate supply of air into the room When the cooker hood is used in conjunction with other appliances supplied with energy other than electric the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0 04 mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back into the room by the cooker hood 4 INSTALLATION For easy installation proceed as follows 4 1 Fix the wall brackets 4 2 Fix the canopy 4 3 Connect the hood to the mains supply and ensure that it works properly 4 4 Set the hood for recirculation or evacuation 4 5 Fix the telescopic metal frame 4 1 Fixing the support bracket Backing Refer to fig 2a b 1 Draw a vertical line on the wall up to the ceiling in the centre of the area where the hood is to be fixed this will be used for vertical alignment of the various parts 2 Positioning the lower rings T a Mark a point on the vertical line at a distance from the cooking surface of d 981 5 1031 5 18 mm Measurement H is the height in millimetres of the visible part of the backing This measurement must be tak

20. two venting grilles must not be fitted into the chimney stack until the chimney stack has been installed onto the wall above the canopy 4 5 Fitting the telescopic chimney stack fig 8 a Fit the two plastic supports provided to the top part of the hood b To fit the upper section item S first expand the chimney slightly to allow it to fit over the wall brackets item 2 fig 1 and then secure the upper section using the 4 screws supplied c The lower section item I of the chimney stack should be fitted between the lower bracket 2 and the wall Fix the U shaped section to the plastic supports using two of the screws provided in the bag of accessories d Chimney hood with grilles once the chimney stack has been installed fit the two venting grilles into the apertures located on either side of the lower chimney section The grilles are marked with two arrows and should be fitted with one arrow pointing upwards and the other toward the front When the hood is used in the recirculation mode ensure that the grilles are properly secured to the recirculation spigot item R as illustrated in fig 9 Part 2 USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS 1 Safety warnings It is most important that all the warnings shown in paragraph 3 of the Installation Instructions are strictly observed Moreover pay special attention to the following warnings during the use and maintenance of the cooker hood 1 1 The grease filters and the charcoal filter sho
