9. r Lenker im Montagebereich gr ndlich mit Alkohol o entfettet ist e Anzugsdrehmoment 5 Nm die Klemmschrauben d rfen nicht berdreht werden e Die Griffe und Barends d rfen sich nach der Montage nicht mehr von Hand verdrehen lassen e Nach 50 km bzw nach der ersten Fahrt die Klemmschrauben nachziehen und danach regelm ig auf festen Sitz pr fen e Nach St rzen sind alle Bauteile auf Besch digungen zu berpr fen und eventuell aus zutauschen Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachh ndler Nach der Montage Testfahrt e Verdrehen sich die Griffe Barends trotz einer korrekten Montage sollten Sie einen Lenker mit angerauter Oberfl che einsetzen e berpr fen Sie nach der Montage der Griffe ob die Bremsgriffe und die Schaltungs bet tigungen ohne Ver nderung der Handhaltung erreichbar sind und ob Sie alle Funktionen Ihres Fahrrads weiterhin ohne Einschr nkung nutzen k nnen e Um die f r Sie komfortabelste Stellung der Ergon Handgriffe herauszufinden ver ndern Sie den Positions Winkel in kleinen Schritten F hren Sie nach einigen kurzen Testfahrten hierzu die Montageschritte 3 bis 7 erneut aus EN AWARNING Please read these instructions carefully Failure to do so may lead to injury Explanation of signs symbols used in these instructions Please pay particular attention to the following symbols when mounting the product Warning This symbol indicates an important step which must be followed Failu
10. re to do so could cause injury or death D Information This symbol indicates additional information for example about how to handle the product The explanation here serves as a description of the possible consequences of not following the instructions These consequences wont always be repeated when the symbols are used Handlebar requirements e These grips are only compatible with a handlebar which has been certified for the grips given torque The handlebar must conform to the standard external diameter of 22 2mm e Tolerances in the manufacture of handlebars may mean that the grips may not slide easily onto the handlebar e A straight mounting area measuring at least 1386mm is required on both sides of the bar to fit the grips Safety precautions e Please ensure that the bar is suitably cleaned using alcohol or other degreasers e Torque Nm 3 7 ft lb do not overtighten e Grips and bar ends must not rotate once fitted e Re check the torque setting following the first ride 50 km of riding and then check periodically to ensure that the screws are not loosening e Following any crashes or impacts please check the parts of the grips for damage Check to see that the parts are still secure Replace if necessary In the event of any questions please contact your local retailer After fitting Test ride e Should the grips turn on the bar despite being fitted according to these instructions it may be necessary to repl
