Tape wrapping direction 1 2 1 to 2 threads Preparations before Operation The hand pumps are to be used with rams and hoses According to the applications hydraulic valves pressure gauges and piping materials too are to be used Use RIKEN genuine goods To connect the high pressure hoses Normally the one end of the high pressure hose is screwed in the output port of the pump another end has a hose side coupler to connecta ram side coupler Be sure to use 1 to 2 wraps of tape seal on each end thread How to wrap tape seal Use 1 to 2 wraps of tape seal on each R3 8 PT3 8 thread counter clockwise by leaving 1 to 2 threads from the end of the thread One end of the thread is to be screwed in Rc3 8 PT3 8 output port of the pump Tighten the high pressure hoses couplers and other fittings under rated torque of about 80 to 100 N m by use of vices How to release the air in the high pressure hoses The air is included in the new hoses As the ram does not operate smoothly release the air a To unfasten a lever hook Unfasten the lever hook by pushing the lever grip b
