1. 3.  ON position         1  MCCB and ELCB operation with the door closed     When the handle is almost turned to the vertical position  either MCCB or ELCB  is turned on   Fig 7      When the handle is almost turned to the horizontal position  either MCCB or  ELCB is turned off   Fig 8      If MCCB or ELCB are automatically interrupted  the handle almost indicates  TRIP   Fig 9      If the handle is turned in the direction of RESET  MCCB or ELCB is reset      Fig 10    2  Door lock and release    While MCCB or ELCB is on  off  or tripped  the door is locked and you cannot  open it     The door is released by turning the handle to OPEN   Fig 10     To open the door while MCCB or ELCB is on  turn the release screw clockwise to  unlock the door   Fig 11         JI      ZAU  Release screw    4  Locking of the knob    It is possible to lock the handle to the OFF position using a padlock   Locking MCCB or ELCB with the door closed   Fig 12    HRS EEL TANEET   BrReOeld  4 0  8 0mM0ENA  AAL TK RES    Pull out lock plate and attach a padlock   Use a 4 0 to 8 0mm diameter padlock

8. es the products and is  responsible for their maintenance     Within this instruction manual  safety precautions are ranked  in order of importance   as either Warning or Caution       W A RNING   Indicates a potentially hazardous situation  which  if not  avoided  could result in death or serious injury     ANC AUTION   Indicates a potentially hazardous situation  which  if not    avoided  may result in minor or moderate injury and or  damage to the equipment   Under certain conditions  improper operation may result in serious injury and or  damage even if it is labeled only as Caution  Every item indicated by either  Warning or Caution should be considered significant  Be sure to give particularly  care to those items       WARNING      Turn off the power before starting mounting  dismounting  wiring     maintenance or inspection  Failure to turn off the power may result in  electrical shock or burning            CAUTION      Do not use deformed or damaged MCCB  ELCB or operation handle   if deformation or damaging is found out at detaching of package        Mounting  detaching  wiring  maintenance and checking should be done  by an authorized or certified person      MCCB  ELCB and operation handles should not be used in serve  environment such as high temperature  humidity  dusty  corrosive gas   excessive vibration and impulse  If they are used in such an environment   they may result in fire or malfunction      Mounting should be done according to the instruction manual
9. the OFF position  Assemble the driving unit so  that the MCCB or ELCB handle engages the handle arm   Fig 2       Secure the driving unit and MCCB or ELCB together to the mounting plate by  tightening the attached four mounting screws   Fig 3    4  Mounting the handle unit    Put the handle unit  cover holder  packing  and retainer in front of and behind  the door panel and tighten the screws temporarily as shown in Fig 4  Adjust the  position of the handle unit so that it does not tilt against the breaker   Fig 5       Put the handle of the handle unit at OFF position and close the door     Check that the shaft engages the latch when the door closes   Fig 2   Make confirmation and correction of the different position as follows      Checking the ON OFF operation  Set the handle in the ON and OFF position to make sure that MCCB or ELCB is  turned on and off  If it fails  slide the handle unit vertically and horizontally on  the door panel to make the shaft engage the latch  In the optimum handle unit  position  when the handle at ON position  the handle is automatically returned  to the ON position even if the handle unit is shaken horizontally   Fig 6    2  The door cannot be closed completely after the handle is mounted   This is due to the distance  105  between the door surface and the MCCB or  ELCB mounting surface being less than the reference distance   So  adjust the MCCB or ELCB mounting position until the reference distance  is reached    3  After the door is closed
