21. 50 3 Proect to Restore a Steam Turbme Workshop at the College 3nd Report Ganbat DAVAA Masaru SOGABE Ke MATSUOKA Abstract In the present report we summarized the last year activities accomphshed wthm the Project to Restore a Steam Turbine Workshop at Our College This is a three year project which was completed in 2011 The aim of the project was to let the students to deepen their knowledge on each part of turbine edunpment and to practice their theory based knowledge while repanmng a turbine at our college The college turbine work shop was bunlt in 1969 and the steam turbine was out of servce snnce 2002 As a result of carrynng out the project the students could gam opportunnty to combme ther theoretical knowledge wth practical expernence Besides that as a result of the project the college steam turbine work shop became avalable for its original purposes that can be used for practncal trannmg and experlmental works for the 4th year students of the Marme Technology Department and the Electromc Mechanical Engmeermg Department 1 44 4
