RPU 3 Roland PEDAL UNIT Owner s Manual TEE Before using this unit carefully read the sections entitled USING THE UNIT SAFELY and IMPORTANT NOTES These sections provide important information concerning the proper operation of the unit Additionally in order to feel assured that you have gained a good grasp of every feature provided by your new unit Owner s manual should be read in its entirety The manual should be saved and kept on hand as a convenient reference e Allows you to enjoy piano performances at their fullest since you can use three pedals e This product can be used by connecting it to a device that is equipped with three pedal jacks that support the use of continuous detection e Now depending on how you depress a pedal you can modify the reverberation depth and the softness of notes Malfunction may result if you connect the pedal cords while power is still switched on for the device to which you re connecting Before making the connection make sure to switch off the device s power e Connect the pedal cord from the pedal unit to the appropriate pedal jacks on the device to which you are connecting the pedals The correspondence between the pedals and the plugs is as illustrated below A Connect to the pedal jacks on the device POD This product must not be used with jacks that are designed specifically to be used for expression pedals To prevent short circuits do not
